Cherry Mountain — Attraction in West Chicago Township

Cherry Mountain Arts put up a fake artist grant. The requirements for possibly winning the grant included——you guessed it——being a follower on their Instagram. Therefore, a lot of artists followed them, waiting for the winner of the $1,000 grant to be announced. However, it’s been over 12 weeks, and there has not been a single post, story, or mention anywhere of any updates on the grant winner. All they do is post images of the things they’re selling. They probably just wanted more followers online, and more visits to their website. As soon as a winner is announced, I’ll remove this review. But if you’re reading this, that means there have been zero updates and the whole thing was a scam....

Recently stopped by this gallery after dinner and I was very impressed. The artist, I believe his name is Rello, was present and made it a point to come up to us, for a brief introduction and offer some insight on his work. He answered our questions about his journey and was super kind (and funny). The staff was also very helpful in helping us choose our items, which we were very thankful for. Can’t wait to see his future works...
