This is a great little bakery that was recommended to me by some friends while we were staying in the area for the weekend.
The lady (not sure if she was the owner?) was very helpful in explaining what to do: Take a tray and place as many items on it as you wish, then head up to the register so the clerk can ring you up and bag everything.
We ended up piling 2 trays with baked goods and taking them home for our families since we don't live in the Chicago area. The chocolate concha and the various cookies were our favorites.
The kind lady explained to us that the items will stay good up to 1 week if we wrap them in plastic and keep them in the fridge....
Read moreFirst time I ordered from here and will be the last. So I ordered a Rosca two days before…I asked them not to put the dulce on top. When I get there they give me a Rosca that had the dulce. I was upset cause that was the reason I made a special order 2 days before. They did return my money because of this mistake. When I get home and we cut it , the bread wasn’t fresh it was hard and burnt underneath.
