The Avenue Que and kitchen — Restaurant in West Chicago Township

Thought I'd try the Ave for the 1st time I'll be back but a few pointers the bbq sauce is a little to thick but it has the right sweet and touch of heat the fries I can say were a nice touch because they are fresh cut but undercooked and drowned in the bbq sauce which was poured all over the fries before placing the tips & chicken over the fries and then pouring the sauce over the chicken & tips that way the fries wouldn't have been drenched also separate the 1 slice of white bread in a sandwich bag it was to soggy not just from the sauce but also the steam of the hot food the tips were very tender & juicy the wings fried perfectly wish I had 4 instead of 3 hint less tips add a 4th wing lol I'll definitely be back though that's why I gave a 4 on food, service was good at the counter where I paid but the pickup spot the old lady seemed angry so 4 on service, the atmosphere was to loud I chose to wait in my car until my food was ready but the food is definitely better than the colemans down the street which has no flavor at all but overall...

I hate to give restaurant bad review but this place was not good at all first I want to say my son called in the order my son gave the last name but when I get there he couldn’t remember (man that takes the orders) then he says yeah I remember now and start ringing up the order , tried to call my son to see what he order but he didn’t answer and for me just getting off work and heading home I got the order and got home my son looks at the food and said I didn’t order this it was a steak sandwich that was half done and chicken tips with hot links and both were dry ,so I called the restaurant back and explain to the guy that this was not what my son order he apologized and he told me to come back and he will fix it , asked him did he want to bring the food back he said naw keep it I got back up there and guess this was the owner next to him and he gave me my right order opened it open and it look good but broke a chicken wing in half when I got home and it was half done…. My 1st time going I am definitely going back. I grabbed a 5piece wing and a mini tip everything heavy sauce come with fries. The tip OM goodness 😋Wings loving them. Ok I paid with my card they add 3% to your bill which was $.58cent so when you go bring cash. It was a little smokey in restaurant the cashier sat more seats outside a few of us said we were fine.
