The Jerk Shop — Restaurant in West Chicago Township

I travel all the way from Englewood to eat at the Jerk Shop. Needless to say the food is fantastic. However I base my rating on my overall experience. Hours of operation are not posted and I understand that that is done purposely because when I called and asked about clearer hours of operation I was told "We have other things to do". Customer service means a lot to me because well, I am a customer. Consistent, good customer service is what The Jerk Shop is lacking. One day you go and feel your business appreciated...another day you pre-order get there and still have to wait 30 minutes to get your order. No apologies No compensation. Nevertheless I really like the food. Maybe I'll go back...then again...

Honest review on my opinion upon entering I wanted to smell that familiar aromas but all I smelled was fried chicken, the cashier was very nice however they didn't accept cash so walk to the ATM because I really wanted to support and back I ordered the jerk chicken tips however the chicken didn't taste fresh honestly taste like the fridge , it's was seasoned very well but didn't taste like jerk at all it had BBQ sauce, I thought it was jerk tips , so went back in to purchase some jerk sauce and she have me some without purchasing it was completely water down no flavor but the fries and the mango...

I’ll start off with saying that the lady working the register was very sweet. BUT, They are way over priced. I ordered a chicken Philly & a jerk chicken salad total of $25 & they both were very, very small portions. The Philly was so small & dry. The Salad only had 4 cucumbers n two cherry tomatoes. A spoon of cheese n the lettuce wasn’t fresh. Also, I was given a really small cup of ranch dressing for my salad and was charged $2 for two more small ones. Their super nacho is probably the best thing they have there because that’s all the other customers were ordering. But I will not...
