So I doordash pickuped this order because I could not remember the name, lol. First of all. I want to talk to my fell doordasher, uber eats drivers, and grurbhub drivers.
I am a driver as well on two of these platforms.
I am appalled at some of the behavior of my fellow drivers.
When I got there the cashier told me to accept the order before she gave me the order.
She said that some of these drivers are screen shoting their orders as delivered and taking peoples food. Why? Why? If you can afford to operate a vehicle then find a way to afford food without taking the food from other people. Do not be mad at the people who have figured out either to worth the system, save money, budget, or just dont care but have enough money for that meal. To steal from customers paying you to deliver their food is just inexcusable. And you should be ashamed of yourselves. I am ashamed for you.
I ordered chicken wings and catfish combo and a side of mushrooms and buffelo wings with a piece of carrot cake as a desert.
I like to order and break the order down into multiple meals. This made three meals.
All of it was very tasty. The lemon pepper added is very tasty. I love the mushrooms. They are very high on my list of best places to get breadded shrooms.
At first I was a little aprehensive of the wait service. But I have a way of conversating. And it turned out she was aprehensive of me because of the situation of people stealing orders. So I felt like she was my foods body guard and I support her commitment to customer service. You go girl! Thank you for protecting my food until I got there.
5 out of 5 I would...
Read moreMost of these reviews are complaining about how rude the staff is. Well the correct term is not "rude" it's DIS-RESPECTFULL. It's because they racially profile African Americans. I have watched them and how they interact with customers and 'other' individuals who frequent the area and frankly, it's disgusting. They should learn to appreciate our community and our 'welcoming' spirit because I cannot think of any non-black areas that will have them. Especially now.
The complaints about over charging is real. It seems that the cashier(s) are up to something. Especially on Friday's. After I requested my change last Friday (yes I requested it) I stood back and watched what he was doing. It seems the 'call in' customer's are most likely to be cheated. $10, $20, $30 etc....All even amounts no change. Once I asked and received my change it was $1.79..what if I hadn't asked? I watched several customer's ask about charges different than posted menu prices, about their change also, and why prices fluctuate for certain items. Example: fish on Tuesday @ $7.00 may be $8.00 on your next visit. Crazy. I'm also sad to say that it was mostly the older customers who requested receipts and confronted them about inaccuracies. The younger ones didn't seem to care much. Sorry this is so long, but my complaints against them are long. Needless to say I won't be going back but I feel that their practice of overcharging and keeping the change needs to be looked at. They have been reported.
P.S. I didn't even go into the ATM scam...
