Okay.. please don’t hate me, lol.
I really only came here b/c I was looking for food considering I was nearby. The MAIN thing that stood out to be about this place when researching what that it has SOO many tremendous reviews. I love Mexican food. It’s was a no brainer.
I went in, the woman behind the counter was very very nice. We actually had a conversation about the reviews, the business and the menu. That was very helpful, very very nice. 10/10 on the conversation.
I ended up getting a taco dinner (3 tacos with rice and bean) and I also got a large horchata.
She said i was able to get three different meats (and that is VERY BIG) as we know most restaurants don’t want to accommodate people in that way, so I was extremely excited about that. I ended up getting steak, chicken and birria. I paid $22.05.
Overall, the food was not the best. The steak had a ton of flavor, however the steak was cooked down so much it was extreme dry and chewy. It took me nearly 7 mins to stop chewing the first bite well enough for me to swallow, I was quite disappointed. 5/10 and that’s just for flavor.
The chicken- although It had a nice charred flavor to it- just like the steak it was cooked way way too long. The chicken was dry- although i can honestly say all of the chicken was not that way, but majority of it was-way more than I like for paying $22 for food. 4/10
The birria taco was just dumped on the tortilla. There was a ton of meat on it. I think it probably would’ve have been better with cheese and some type of sauce to go with all that meat for a smoother taste. 2/10
None of the tacos came with cheese. It probably would have helped with the dryness but hey I will never know. I did have green and red sauce, it helped but it didn’t couldn’t cover up how dry the meat was.
The rice - it’s was okay, not the best. Kinda grainy The beans-🙄 would not recommend.
Sides 2/10
Horchata 5/10 … you’ll need a ton of ice, it’s extremely thick and milky but had good flavor. The best part about this was watering it down a bit.. or a lot of bit lol
I went to eat in the car and realized she didn’t give me a fork or any napkins so i went the 6 minutes to my destination and ate there. The food was not sitting long. Everything was still warm when I ate it. However everything was not up to the standard in which I thought it was going to be based on the reviews here.
Overall, the best thing about this place- in MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE- the conversation.
I hate spending my money on food and it’s not worth it. I could’ve came back up north and got 8/9 very very good tacos for the $22 I’ve spent here. Highly HIGHLY disappointed.
My son even tried the different meats and it also took him quite a while to chew and get it down as well.
I wish I’d taken pictures. I honestly tossed out the rice and beans- we tried. And ate what we could...
Read more⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Taco heaven exists — and it’s here.
I don’t usually leave reviews, but this taco spot deserves all the praise. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was on point — welcoming, casual, and filled with the smell of grilled perfection.
The tacos? Next level. I tried the carne asada, al pastor, and birria — each one packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and served on fresh, warm tortillas. You can tell everything is made with love and attention to detail. The salsa bar is a game-changer too — spicy, smoky, tangy, you name it.
Service was fast, friendly, and super attentive. The staff made sure everything was just right without hovering. It felt like I was being taken care of by family.
If you’re looking for authentic, mouthwatering tacos with great service and unbeatable value — this is it. I’ll be coming back again…...
Read moreVery nice family run spot! The birria tacos were around $18 and they were very good. My only complaint is that the meat itself could have had more flavor, I think it was not properly salted. But it was cheesy, meaty, and crunchy. They gave me a ton of consume, too much. That didn’t have as much flavor as I would have wanted either, and salt would have helped. But you could just add salt and everything would be 2x as good. The rice and beans were pretty good. Also, the salsas that they have are unfortunately not to my taste. They are very spicy, and I love a spicy salsa, but they lack balance and are very one note. They are spicy without any depth or acidity. You may like this kind of salsa. But the family was very nice and the food was all very good depending on your tastes. Very high quality and I will be...
