I dined in. I ordered two ground beef tacos. I ordered ground beef because I often get burritos at El Famous when in the Chicago burbs, and their ground meat is terrific. Well, this was barely seasoned ground beef. Tacos were on corn tortillas, but somehow the tortillas chewed doughy. I wanted onion, and got grilled onion (sweet), not diced white onion. I asked for jalapeno on the taco, and was given a whole grilled jalapeno. The restaurant is pleasing and clean. A fast casual restaurant, a server brings you your food, plus chips, three hot sauces, and salsa. Their house salsa is very tomato-heavy. It tastes like grilled tomato, but also of tomato paste. Read moreI was starving. I seen this restaurant and thought this is perfect I will get a burrito Suisse. This is my first time at this restaurant I do not know what to expect except for great tasting food. Unfortunately that is the exact opposite of what I received just now. I ordered a steak burrito Suisse supposed to come with cheese sauce and Ranchero sauce on top. I received a cold burrito with a piece of cheese melted across the top of it not even the same Cheez-ItsSupposed to have. Very sad because I absolutely love Mexican food. What a waste...
Read moreAre you seriously reading the reviews? Forget reading the reviews and go eat this place. It is hands down the best Mexican food place. Everything taste extremely fresh and original. There red salsa is a must have (it is not spicy)!
Their portions aren't small and they don't serve tiny tortillas like other Mexican restaurants. The staff is extremely friendly. Service is quick. You'll order your food and a couple of minutes after sitting down the food is sitting in front of you.
Please do yourself a favor and try the fried ice cream.
