This place is wow wow wow!! I came in with a coworker of mine just finishing up a job looking for lunch on our lunch I looked up and found this place. Coming to this place was cool. Didn't know this place was like a little plaza next to a movie theater. It's a little small not too bad but overall I loved the atmosphere here. Yet it was simple and relaxing.First walked in and was able to take a seat facing the street views with foot traffic seeing a bench outside which was cool seeing some pretty Gals enjoy their meal digging into their food kinda like a Harold and Kumar goes to whitecastle type of thing but anyways Was first off Greeted by a Worker there her name is Raya. Shoutout to Raya!! An amazing Bubbly Person with great recommendations and she's super duper helpful since it was our first time and I felt like I was at home greeted with a smile and just was relaxed. She's started us with our drinks. There was a few selections of beer that was great!! Was super hungry went straight to ordering our lunch. Me I cook at home alot and I know what My tastes buds like lol My Coworker ordered an El diablo burger with tots that's was cheesy. I think it was Like a Ribeye Cheesy tots and for me I built my burger. So I was able to choose. So I chose a Salmon Patty on Brioche Bun with a chipotle sauce with a garlic aoili toppings added was lettuce, grilled onions, grilled pineapple (it's a choice not alot of people like pineapple), with avocado , and topped it off with an over easy runny egg and added what they call Lechon which is Shredded Pulled Pork in Tagalog on the side with toppings on top of my tater tots which was amazingly delicious. As our order was in and it arrived.... Gotta tell you Wow!! First bite of the Tater tots with lechon on top with a sauce that they have definitely got my taste buds wildin!! I've wanted to try the Pizza tater tots which caught my attention but it's cool next time. So I took a couple bites in and it was Crunchy tots with delicious moist pulled pork bite I've tasted. It was not soggy and it came out the way I expected it. With a Crunch which is what I love. So I left that alone and began to look at my Build a burger.... Tell you what if you don't try it like how I did..... I give you a high 5 lol I cut the burger in half and had my egg oozing deliciously like it was golden cheese. First bite in was amazing super succulent and also I love spicy I had Jalapenos in with it. So the burger gave me a spicy succulent juicy taste altogether in the first bite..... Not going to lie made me just drool right now as I'm writing this review I can go for another one lol. That first bite in was amazing all the way down to the last bite was juicy, spicy super flavorful and they all complimented each other but it got a little messy not too bad. I used up all my napkins like 3 of them lol. If anything great place, great atmosphere because they were playing some old school rock like 70s 80s style rock music with choice of great beers and food!! Great to take family and friends here. For sure 5 out of 5 for sure not just hyping it up unless I was just hungry lol. Id for sure come back because of the Food, Atmosphere, and of Course Raya an amazing Person!! I be coming back for sure. Thank you guys for letting me enjoy my Lunch Adventure during...

Bun Street is a burger place. They serve specialty burgers, salads, sides, craft fries, tots, soft drinks, wine, and beer. You also have an option of building your own burger.

We were greeted upon entry and asked if we wanted to sit outside or inside. We requested for indoor seating. They sat us on the third table from the far right. It was nice that they gave us space from the other tables. Another server came by and asked if we wanted anything to drink. Within a few minutes, she took our orders.

I ordered the Mac N' Cheese Burger. It was fantastic! Huge portion of the mac and cheese. The mac and cheese portion was superb. Rich cheese flavor and the macaroni texture was soft with a slight firmness to it. The angus beef patty was thick and juicy. The BBQ sauce was sweet and not overly heavy. The lettuce was fresh. The buns were soft and held the burger together nicely. At no point did the buns become soggy. I didn't think mac and cheese would work on a burger but surprisingly it did. This had to be one of the best burgers I've had. Since we arrived before 3pm on a weekday, the burger came with a side of fries. The fries were perfect. They were crispy on the outside and soft in the middle.

The Pizza Fries were pretty good. The fries portion was huge. The pepperoni was slightly spicy, the marinara was zesty, and the mozzarella was milky. I ended up eating the rest of the fries when we got home. It was much better then because by that point the marinara was fully absorbed into the fries making it very rich and packed with flavor.

The service was great. The food arrived within 15 minutes. Our server was very friendly and incredibly attentive. When we folded up the straw paper and left it on the table, she came by randomly and picked it up. After we had a few bites of our food, she came by and asked how everything was. When she saw that I was fumbling for napkins, she asked if I wanted more napkins. After we put everything in boxes, she asked if she could take the plates out of he way. It wasn't like she was standing next to us the whole time. It just seemed like the timing was perfect when she came out to ask things.

Indoor seating consists of a long wooden booth with tables and metal chairs on the opposite side. These tables were in close proximity with each other. There is also bar seating. There are lots of TVs on the walls and they were all on mute.

The Mac N' Cheese Burger was fantastic and the Pizza Fries were pretty good. I did get massive heartburn afterwords but it was worth it. I'll be back for...

UPDATE

So pretty shortly after posting my first review, I received a msg from the business owner apologizing for my terrible experience. Then he asked if I was willing to give them another chance and offered a gift card. I do love their onion rings so I said I would, if there will be an improvement and thanked him for reaching out and trying to mend the situation.

That was 3 days ago.

Maybe he thought just throwing out an empty offer would make me change my review. I wish he hadn't even messaged me now since it's clear their customer service is far below the standard. Even follow up is a mess.

Again, what a joke.

ORIGINAL REVIEW

Sat down, waited at least 15 min while the servers were busy taking orders, serving food and checking up on guests right next to us (on both sides cause we were in the center). They must have passed by us at least 17 times. No one even bothered to ask for a drink while one of the servers (a guy in glasses and a hat) was busy chatting with the big table next to us that were clearly his friends. They just kept on looking but couldn't bother to even take our drink order. If they had, it would have bought them at least 10 more min. So we got up and walked out. Still, no one bothered to say anything or attempt to apologize. (It wasn’t even fully occupied, mind you) What a joke.

So disgusted with how we were treated. It's a shame because the first visit was so...

Came to Bun Street with my niece and sister for a early dinner. It was my first time, and I was very impressed. Located in a strip of other establishments behind a popular movie theatre. This is a good date place for a burger, tots and drinks before a movie. We were greeted and seated quickly and our server way extremely pleasant. Being my first time, i asked for recommendations, when the nacho tots were recommended my mouth started to water so of course they were ordered. There are a variety of burgers to choose from and I landed on the El Diablo after hearing it was a 7 out of 10 on the spicy scale. The food came out of the kitchen timely. For me the burger wasn’t spicy at all, but my spice tolerance is on the upper end of the spectrum. The burger was cooked well and had good flavor. The Nacho Tots were delicious, tots were crunchy and the jalapeños were 7/10 on my spicy scale. The only thing I would suggest is ordering additional nacho sauce on the side. Seemed to me that the majority of the sauce on the plate was on the bottom. I will definitely be back to bun street to try other items on the menu, and would recommend others to do so as well. Until next time, thank you Bun Street for a great dinner experience.

Last weekend after the @renaissancepleasurefaire I headed over to @bun_street for some grub. The food and reviews online looked good, but the food itself didn't deliver for me. I had the California burger, mac n cheese burger and pizza fries. Of the three, the mac n cheese burger was probably the best. The mac n cheese is actually pretty good and the meat does have great flavor. That's all there is to the burger though. A scoop of macaroni, BBQ sauce and burger patty. I felt like it needed more. Maybe I should have added the bacon they offered at an additional charge. As for the Cali burger, the meat was good but it felt very basic, and the bun was sticky on the bottom and fell apart. For a place called "Bun Street" you'd think the buns would be better. Lastly the pizza fries. They reminded me of cafeteria food. You remember when it was pizza day in elementary school and you got that oval shaped pizza? That's exactly what it tasted like and I don't mean that in a good way. The sauce, if you could even call it that, was uttery insipid. After rave reviews about these fries I was really disappointed. Overall, meat good, everything else basic. Would I come back? Probably not.
