C&R Fresh Food — Restaurant in West Covina

My first time today after hearing such rave reviews....Oh my goodness, the owner is so humble and nice....Received samples of some smoothies and fresh made juices.....Owner, Mario, even came outside to our table and gave us a free shot of ginger.....He said price was $1.99 for shots of pure ginger and lemon, but he gave it to us.... This man and his daughter would love for you to come try out a sandwich, smoothie, etc....The name is a little deceiving as I thought it was a small fresh fruit store when I first saw it....But its fresh made smoothies, juices, drinks, sandwiches.....Ordered the tuna sandwich combo....the drink was huge, you pick which potatoes chips you want, and the sandwich had so many veggies beside tuna on it..Serving sizes are great...You wont find a better place to eat at....Stop by any time and you are greeted when you walk in the door.....You wont regret checking this sandwich and smoothie shop out....Its almost at the end of all the shops, so wasn't hard to find....I certainly will...

Out family loves C&R Fresh! Not only because they make delicious, fresh, and affordable food for the whole family but the way they treat their customers is above and beyond! I found this place almost a year ago. I was prey and craving agua fresca ha ha. It was just a month into the Covid pandemic so several businesses were either closed or places like the market were busy and few things left of shelves. I ended up calling them at C&R and asking if they had agua fresca. They said they had some so I rushed over. It was delicious, and I thanked them for helping me. He was so sweet he also made me a smoothie with fruit and veggies I liked on the house and told me to take it easy and take care of my growing baby! From then on C&R became a place I went to weekly for lunch, dinner, or just a drink! I jokingly, not really joking tell people he saved me and my pregnancy cravings through the whole 9months! The BEST BREAKFAST BURRITO EVER!! I am from Seattle, WA. I was in Los angles for my medical rotations. I discovered this place while driving through west covina. While living in Los Angeles i have had alot of breakfast burrito but this one is the best one i have ever had. I walked into the place with no knowledge but the person at the counter was very welcoming and gave me his recommendations. He also offered me various homemade and freshly made juices. The ambiance of the shop is very welcoming. I ordered coffee and a burrito. The coffee was freshly brewed and the burrito was so so good. The eggs were cooked to perfection and the cheese melted right into the tase buds. The meat was tender and fresh. If i lived in west covina or even drive pass it i would come eat here every day!
