Visited this dairy queen literally about 10 min ago and left very unsatisfied first their staff all appeared to be not much older than about 12 and acted about that old as well we ordered 3 blizzards 2sundays and a shake (there were two of us) first they never waited to hear sizes or asked they just walked off ( apparently we looked like the mini blizzard ~small sundae & shake type people) then after one grade schooler took our order another grade schooler came over to ring us up I reminded her the blizzards were on sale she pretended not to hear me we paid and requested a receipt again we were ignored two min later a third child came to ring us up again that I kindly refused after receiving our order all with no lids no spoons no straw I requested these things as clearly the two of us were not planning to consume all 6 of these items we were given 5 spoons and 2 lids so I again went to the counter and requested a straw the only Male employee there looked at me like I just interrupted him during his favorite tv shows season finale I left shaking my head in disbelief i mean this order of all tiny items came to over $20 the small sundaes were under $3each the small shake I'll assume was as well one of the blizzards was supposed to be only .80 cents it clearly was not and the thing is I could over look all that the rudeness and ignorance what I cannot get over is that these kids applied to work this job and yet someone thought it was a good idea to let them be in charge of helping customers with no real adult supervision when they aren't even smart enough to know your supposed to hand out straws with shakes and spoons with sundaes and haven't been taught that its not good customer service to look at paying customers who ask for things they paid for like they just walked up and asked for a damb kidney instead .... oh and let me also mention they were only 3 other customers that were in there during my visit one whom had ordered and paid before I walked in the second was behind me in line and the third was just dropping off the Jimmy John's all or part of the staff had ordered so it's not like they were so busy they couldn't remember that all shakes come...
Read morePulled up to this Dairy Queen west grand Ave. not a horrible line but decently long.. waited in line for more then 20 minutes. Got up to the menu board to order. Only to hear the twist cone machine is out of order and has been for awhile. She asked me 4 times to repeat my order. Ordered something else. Got up to the window another 5 minutes later to pay. Only to see 3-4 Employees inside playing around. This was the worst trip to this Dairy Queen. I’ll go to the other dairy queen on grand till this one gets straightened out and the drive up line goes with a less wait time. This is not the first time we have been through this drive through. It has been a couple months with the twist cone machine down. But the line tends to move at a better pace. Date I was at this dairy queen 6-23-25...
Read moreWe really want to like this DQ because it’s closest to us. But their blizzards are consistently disappointing. They are not filled to the top of the cup and sometimes there are big air pockets I guess from when they mix it. Usually the bottom half of the blizzard is just pure ice cream and no toppings. It’s like they are always in a hurry and don’t pay attention to the amount of ice cream and then barely mix it. Other DQs such as the one further down Grand by 63rd have their blizzards overflowing and do the “upside down” test. No skimping on mix-ins at that location. With how expensive Blizzards are, you want them made correctly and not thrown together without even filling the cup. We tried and tried and they are consistently bad, so from now on we are driving the extra distance to...
