Jimmy John's — Restaurant in West Des Moines

I ordered sandwiches online for kids competing in the Junior Olympics and it sent the order to this store. I got a confirmation email and was able to track my order which showed “out for delivery”. Over 30 minutes later I hadn't seen anyone so I called to check the status and was told that they don't deliver to our location and that it should have gone to another store but corporate messed up. I asked why I wasn't notified and they said that my number was not working. Funny because I called them with no problem and had others calling me with no problem! They wouldn't even transfer my order to the correct Jimmy Johns like they are supposed to. Very bad customer service however another Jimmy Johns in town quickly fixed the problem and delivered food to the athletes and saved the day. Jimmy Johns is great but not...

This has become my favorite JJ's location in town, and it is definitely because of the staff. They are a well-oiled machine of efficiency, and always very friendly (and playing excellent tunes, I might add). I used to think Jimmy John's was the pinnacle of consistency, that you could venture far and wide without getting a bad sandwich or a mixed up order. If that were ever true, I think everyone started noticing favorites after 2020.
