AJ's Pizza — Restaurant in West Goshen Township

With so many local pizza shops, you have a lot of choices but you absolutely MUST try AJ's! The owner and staff are very friendly, the dining area and kitchen are spotlessly clean and I haven't even mentioned the delicious food yet!

I ordered a plain pie and some fries and while I was waiting, I had the opportunity to speak with the owner, who was extremely generous and insisted that I try a slice from the selection in the display case while I was waiting for my food. I asked him to chose which one and he gave me a slice of the Honey Mustard Chicken. The flavor blew my mind! A nice thin crust with a unique and amazing flavor, perfectly cooked tender and crispy chicken, flavorfully seasoned broccoli and diced tomatoes and topped with the perfect amount of honey mustard dressing. I will definitely order a whole pie of this next time!

The plain pie was perfectly cooked and the freshly made dough makes a nice crust that tastes amazing in combination with the sauce and cheese. I also ordered fries which were also perfectly cooked and a good portion size. They were so good that I ate about half of them before I took the picture so it's about double the amount.

I have to say that I'm super excited to have these folks here in the Parkway Shopping Center because it's convenient and there's plenty of parking. The food is nothing short of amazing and I have't even had the opportunity to try the pasta, salads or other offerings yet. This will be my new "go to" spot and I will gladly support this local business. This is a place that you may miss driving by, but would be very unfortunate, as it is a gem of a pizza place. It's what you would expect from an old-fashioned pizza place. What I mean by that, is when you enter, not only will you find the owner Sam, and his wife working and cooking all the food, but they are both extremely friendly, and go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied! They clearly take a lot of pride in the quality of the food they make. The first time I went here, was after not one, but TWO of one of my co-workers very enthusiastically recommended I try it. And let me tell you I was not disappointed one bit! I walked in and was immediately greeted by Sam, the owner. When the slices were ready, I was surprised and impressed by the fact that he didn't just hand me the box and go back to his business like so many other places, but he came and opened the box and presented the slices to me, while telling me he hoped I enjoyed them and to let him know what I thought of them!! Stopped by AJ’s for dinner today, before I even get into the food review I want to mention Sam’s (the owner) passion for the food he makes as well as his welcoming demeanor. It truly felt like a at home shop within 5 minutes. Now to the food review, we ordered a cheese pizza, a cheesesteak and fries on the side. The Pizza was great, definitely a top 3 cheese slice I have had in the area, the homemade sauce Sam makes really makes this pizza great, its a very light sauce with natural hints of tomato under the crisply melted cheese and crust. The Cheesesteak was good aswell, the bread is actually perfect and I would say probably the best part, but the rest of the cheesesteak is solid too.
