Ordering through DoorDash. Be prepared to WAIT!
I'm a doordasher. This restaurant is notorious for making us wait for customers food. This is a disservice to your customers and very disrespectful of us doordashers time. We don't get paid hourly hlwe get paid per delivery. We also get reviews that we must keep up so we can rank for the next month.
I've been here plenty of time and each time you make us wait way over our original pick up time. Staff needs to call doordash and change their prep time for orders cause this is unacceptable.
We shouldn't be waiting 20 minutes pass the pick up time. I wouldn't be leaving this review if this wasnt such a regular occurrence but it happens way too much.
I ve stop coming here but today decided to give you another chance. I waited 20 minutes total 10 minutes pass my pick up time and left out to my car. Then you guys chased me saying the food is ready. I saw that bag sitting there but ya let me sit there the whole time when I asked 2l3 separate times about my order being ready. Response not yet. But iwlt was sitting there the whole time.
Another incident I came to pick up after you guys had close. I only been assigned the order for 4 minutes. One your staff proceeded to try and scold me for making you guys wait. We don't know how long food been sitting ready to go. All we know is that we get assigned and gotta come pick up. If you guys got food out on time maybe dasher would come pick up instead of avoiding you. Smh
Do better.
*updated in response to owner. Call doordash for business support and have the prep time fixed. It's an algorithm if we're showing up to fast that means doordash the company and computer does not know how long the food really takes to make. It's you business specifically and one other outback steakhouse that has this problem because we're showing up do to a wrong factor on time in their system. Have the expected pickup time updated!
Responding "yes you will" is so authoritative. I'm not your damn employee and don't act like I am. No I won't just wait each time you guys just feel like wasting our time. Just like I did yesterday. The long wait don't hurt you it hurts our rating when the customer is mad and wondering why their food is taking forever. That out of our control. But it's good to see your ready to exploit us on-demand app delivery drivers and have no disregard for our time because were...
Read moreWent here for the first time last night for take out. I had the Roast Pork Combo $7.20 (all the combo means is it has sharp provolone cheese), with Toppers $2.15 (1 1/2 ounces of Broccoli Rabe), and Italian Hots $2.25. Horseradish and hot peppers come on the side for free. Is it an expensive sandwich? Yes, but all I can say is that it may have been the best sandwich I have ever had and wasn't small by any means. I also went with a side of cheese fries $3.70 which I was worried about with take out but the put the cheese on the side without me even asking so the fries were crispy when I got home. Although the place is new and you would expect it to be clean I still have to add that it was spotless. They have a separate dining area away from the bar if you don't feel like that atmosphere. The bar area is small with tables around the outside. They also have several flat screen TV's with different games on if you are looking for a quiet bar to watch a game. Lastly I must say that the staff was as friendly as I could have asked for. Since I am new to the area and not familiar with any of their establishments the bartender was more than helpful in explaining the different ways to order your food. One waitress was on duty and although I didn't have any interaction with her was friendly enough to give me a smile as she went by. Looks like a great place for quick take out or to sit down and have a couple of beers...
Read moreI have been going to Nick’s Roast Beef for over 20 years. This was always the original Nicks in South Philly. So when I moved to West Chester, I couldn't be more pleasantly surprised that there was a Nicks Roast Beef right down the road. I went there with a cohort of mine who has yet to go to Nick's and is from North Jersey originally.
When you pull into the parking lot, there are more than enough spaces for what the building holds. The bar area is on the left, dining is on the right, and honestly, the bar area is the actual Nick's experience. They have enough staff, and a waitress is at the table quickly. So naturally, there is little decision as you are getting either beef, pork, or turkey (combo, personally) with an order of Gravy fries if you're treating yourself.
The service is quick, and the quality is top-notch. Each type of sandwich melts in your mouth. If you have it for the first time, there is nothing quite like the taste of Nick’s sandwich, especially the Roast Beef. If you want my recommendation, a Roast Beef combo with Gravy Fries, that is the authentic Nick's experience. Enjoy and keep up the great taste...
