The Duke is our favorite. Definitely recommend. Food is always great and there's plenty of it. Prices are, well, expensive. Though, it should be noted that one large fries will fill two large adults. That fact alone makes justifying the price a little easier. Service: Good, but slow, hence the four service stars. We are always taken care of but the slow service, and usually undercooked burgers, makes it hard not knock the service rating down from 4 stars to 3, even though the food is delicious. Problems: The sign. Why is the sign on the building so small? It's not very noticeable, especially at 50mph. If we didn't know there was a new Burly here, we wouldn't know there was a Burly here at all. Seems like this might have been overlooked considering the location, but not as big as the following overlooks... This location has a drive-thru with two lanes. I'm not sure why since there is a sign in front of the drive-thrus that states that it's for pickup only. Does that mean that one lane is for pickup only and the other is for drive-thru ordering? Not sure, but it was confusing enough for us to skip the drive-thru and go inside to order, which was inconvenient considering we had a child buckled in the back seat that we now had to take inside with us. Judging by everyone else approaching the drive-thru, they had no idea what to do either. Seems like a simple sign or two may help clarify this and potentially bring in more business. Now for the final problem we've encountered. Again, the drive-thru. This is a fantastic addition, assuming that you CAN actually order food from the drive-thru, however, during the construction of this location, before I even knew what restaurant this building would be, I noticed the drive-thru had an extremely tight turn. This was a huge construction oversight considering the fact that nearly 50% of people in this area drive large pickup trucks. Even the name, Burly Burger, suggests that large woodland men sporting heavy beards and axes (and probably large pickup trucks) are welcome here. Assuming the fact that large pickup trucks can't even make the turn in the drive-thru, they seem to have already lost 50% of their drive-thru business. Bummer. Unless they do a burly overhaul to the drive-thru, I don't think anything there can change. Overall, a fantastic place to eat with friends and family. This location even has an upstairs for those who prefer crow's nest dining (whatever that means). I'm hopeful that with a few of these changes, this could increase the number of people coming into this Burly Burger location, and maybe, just maybe, decrease the prices? Eh? Well, here's hoping for a delicious and bright Burley future! Sincerely, your West Haven neighbor

We stopped by Burly Burger in West Haven and ordered The Classic and The Rock—and wow, both were outstanding. The Classic nailed everything you want in a burger: juicy, perfectly seasoned beef, fresh toppings, and a soft bun that holds it all together without getting soggy. The Rock took things up a notch with its sweet and savory combo—grilled pineapple and teriyaki glaze paired with the burger’s smoky richness made for a seriously memorable bite. We couldn’t decide on just one side, so we snagged both the sweet potato fries and the classic fries. Zero regrets. They were crispy, golden, and dangerously addictive—easily worth selling your redheaded stepchild for (just kidding… mostly). The sweet potato fries had the perfect touch of sweetness, and the regular fries were cooked to perfection. Great service, good vibes, and food that hits the spot—definitely planning on coming back. Burly Burger knows how to do burgers right.

Wonderful burgers loaded with juice and flavor, really top notch, fries are really nice and crispy with a flavorful fry sauce available on tables, well done, and really thick and creamy shakes with great flavor options, irresistible! Also tried their garlic cheese curds, very expensive ($6 and you only get 8 in the combo size =/ ) but still very good. Really though, can I at least get 12 curds, 8 is simply not enough... Service was great and our order came out really fast actually! Can't wait to come back and try some different burgers!!

I have been going to Burly Burger since the first days of the South Ogden location. I am a foodie and hold a very high standard for food, especially burgers, as they are not all created equal. I have tried nearly everything on the menu (the Brigham is not in my future endeavors 😅) and everything is always fresh and delicious. I have not found a better burger out there.

To add to a great burger, the atmosphere and the staff at every location are top notch. Even though I am partial to the 12th Street store, I was stoked to eat at the new West Haven location with my family on opening day and true to form, was not disappointed in any way.

As for future Burly locations? Keep 'em coming! I will...
