I could find no discernable differences between the food here and one of the more common places like Betos or Rancheritos (not that this is a bad thing), so I don't have any justification to drive the extra distance to this place instead of those. Prices are also pretty expensive here. For two ham breakfast burritos and nothing else, I paid a total of $18.21 after tax and credit card fee. I miss the old days when these types of Mexican restaurants were a great value because of how much food you got for a reasonable price. When I look at the price of this same burrito from a user-submitted menu photo, I can see that there's been an almost 30% increase in the price since that pic was posted only 2 years ago. In my opinion, it no longer makes sense to eat at places like this unless you are REALLY craving it. Overall though, the food was good and the worker was really nice. These types of restaurants will continue to be a "once a year" type of...

I decided to try this new restaurant for lunch today. I have several favorite Mexican restaurants I like, and I often used to go to Rancheritos in Roy for takeout. But since Corona, and they went to drive-through only, I haven't been. This one is open, closer, less busy, although similar. It is a brand new building, inside is nice, clean, well organized. Excellent menu. I decided on a burrito and 3 fish tacos. Service excellent. Food came quickly, and was fresh, hot and made well. The fish tacos were outstanding! Biggest, and best made I seen in decades. Two tortillas, large tortillas, a lot of fish, great tarter, fresh lettace and Pico, loaded! Definitely recommend these fish tacos, delicious! I haven't tried the burrito yet lol. Will microwave tomorrow, had no room in stomach after these large loaded, fantastic fish tacos lol. Strongly...

Be advised. This place charges an additional 3.5% fee if you use debit or credit. I think that sucks!

Very friendly and quick service. Today I got a combination plate with two tacos, rice and beans. I also got two cups of green mild sauce. The taco shells were very interesting. I think they may be flour shells. The chicken was surprisingly bland as was the beans and the rice. If you like mild flavors, this is your place. I used some of the green sauce to add flavor to the beans and rice and tacos which made them better. My meal came to over $16 with a drink. I think in the future, I will opt for either a burrito or a pair of tacos by themselves. I know times have changed, but I still have trouble spending $16 for lunch. The burritos are $8 to $10. The tacos are $3 to $4 each.

Update, one hour later. The food gave...

Went opening weekend, ordered #1 Steak Fajitas and a Grilled Chicken Burrito w/ Guac. Service was great. The restaurant was clean. Large menu with lots of options, pretty standard Betos/Rancheritos affair. Steak Fajitas had a great spice kick to them. Large portions, and came with two massive flour tortillas. The grilled chicken burrito was also tasty, but very heavy on the sour cream. Guac seemed to be from a mix packet and was rather sad. The line and wait were long but that's what we expected for the opening weekend. Other customers need to exhibit a little bit of patience in realizing that it's opening weekend, every new restaurant has quirks and kinks they are trying to work through the first couple weeks. Have some patience. We're glad to have some good eats close to home. We'll be back!
