This a drive-thru/carry-out only location.
They're busy and always going to be busy. It's Chick-fil-A.
I went on the second day of operation and I'll give you a secret tip: download the app and do a mobile order and then pickup. That's what I did.
When I pulled into the drive-thru lane, there are several high strung, but still friendly, employees directing traffic. One of them shouted that drive thru/ carry out was a half an hour wait.
Me, however, using mobile order and using the mobile order lane, got through in 10 minutes.
Staff was new but still friendly and my order was completely correct. I got a customized chicken sandwich, waffle fries and a milkshake. The chicken sandwich was to my specifications, the sauce I requested was provided on the side, the waffle fries could have spent another minute in the fryer to be crisper but still very good, and the shake was completely perfect. The right thickness without being too hard to get through the straw. My only disappointment was that they did not have caramel shakes (or at least, not an option on the mobile order app for them. I'm pretty sure I've had one at their North Haven location but I might be mistaken.)
The drive thru was a bit confusing but I think it's just an adjustment because once I did it, it made sense and appears to be well thought through.
All in all, I look forward to the every now and...
Read moreNormally I’m a huge fan of Chick-fil-A, especially because of how consistent everything is across most locations, but this specific location was extremely disappointing. Not only did I sit in a line of 1 other car for over 15 minutes (8:30 breakfast on a weekday), but then when I went to order the #3 (spicy biscuit) meal, the man on the other end said “okay, a #3, that’s the regular chicken sandwich” which I had to correct and ensure he got that it was the spicy biscuit. After that, I waited a bit longer, got my food, and went to go park. I opened my bag (again, breakfast, 8:30am) to find waffle fries ins the ad of hashbrowns. I walked back up to ask for hash browns, to which I was told “yeah we’re out, so we just subbed in waffle fries.” At the end of the day, it’s not like this is the end of the world or anything, but I didn’t want fries for breakfast, and they should’ve told me they were out when I ordered so I didn’t pay for food I didn’t want. Instead, when I explained this to them, they just looked at me and said “yeah…” Again, normally a huge Chick-fil-A fan, but this location isn’t up to the...
Read moreI went through the drive thru yesterday around 1:50. Didn’t get to order til 2:06. My order was literally just three milkshakes. I didn’t get my order until 2:37. People behind me that had very large orders were getting theirs before I did. By the time I got my drinks the worker apologized to me and said she thought I had food on my order and that’s why she was waiting. You really can’t read orders correctly? The whipped cream on top was already melted by the time I got the drinks, so that means they were done for a while before I got them. I was absolutely furious. This was my first time going to this location since it opened and I will not be going again. By the time I got my drinks I could’ve driven to North Haven and back to west haven. This location needs to get it together. One lady in front of me almost left because it was taking forever. They wouldn’t give her her food until she was driving off, fed up, and ready to just leave. Awful service. Wouldn’t have expected this from a chic fil a. I’ve never had this kind of problem at any fast food joint...
