I have been going to this place like forever and during my last visit the place was renovated and is under new management. The ambience was good and FOOD WAS VERY DELICIOUS But the service was very bad. It was very slow. Could improve on service . First thing the waitress took our order wrong. We ordered rice but she brought us fries and when we asked her she brought us rice. Secondly, when we asked for the receipt she very impolitely said she can't, straight on face. We left. But we thought they over charged us went back to ask the bill when we saw the bill she charged us extra for the rice which was 8.99 and we had to pay extra bcoz she took our order wrong. And I was telling my friend how this would be my go to place for food from now on but after the service I'm not sure about that!

I’m only writing a review because I feel this restaurant is one of the best Arab restaurants in CT and they deserve alllll the business they can get, because other than that I would have kept this hidden gem as a secret place all to myself 🤭 But I can not be selfish, everyone needs to try this place and eat here! Very authentic, very delicious Syrian food. The mezze appetizers are so addicting, the mixed grill I had was sooo yummy, the homemade desserts made from scratch, the bottomless chai we had to accompany the meal. They also have heaters and you can sit in the covered space outside, and it is decorated so modern and beautiful just as the inside is! The environment is so welcoming and I stayed so long with my friends I almost spend my suhoor here too haha! The hospitality from the husband and wife is great, I really feel like I’m not in America but I am in Damascus when I ate here.
