Let's start on a bright note: The food was absolutely delicious! We had pupusas and caldo de res. Authentic & tasty. I felt like i was back home again.

Now onto the bad parts: There was only one waitress serving multiple groups, so wait time was very long and she had a very snarky attitude. It was freezing inside, no heat was on & i might as well have eaten outside. With the money saved on heat maybe they should think about creating a designated parking area. The food was more expensive than what was on the menu. While only raised by a few dollars, it felt very disingenuous; Each plate was more expensive than advertised. i asked for water & was given a water bottle that was charged for. No where on the menu was that stated. i was also never given a napkin

Eating at any restaurant is still meant to be an experience, this one was a bad one. As nice as the food was, I have no intention of ever going back. Perhaps takeout is the best option...

Food took more than an hour and we were the only ones there. When we asked the waitress questions she acted like we were inconveniencing her. Pupusas were alright at best but the salsa and curtido was not fresh at all. Oh and when we received our bill there was an extra charge. When we asked about it she said it was her tip. We were only a group of 3. No where did it say it was mandatory. Why should we have to pay extra for such bad service. Then she had the nerve to ask if my friend was from the university like....we all live here for all our lives...do you try to milk university students or something? Anyway la casita del sabor...
