It saddens me to have to write this review, as we frequently dined for many years at Lorenzo’s and have had positive experiences, but we recently ran into a huge letdown that needs to be noted. I booked my baby shower there back in November for end of February, receipt of deposit and everything. I had a guest count of 80 people and was really looking forward to using their back party room, which was lovely and could accommodate a group that size. I called 10 days before my shower to give final headcount, and somehow they “couldn’t find my name in the books.” As you can imagine I was infuriated, and to make a long story short, nobody seemed to take the blame for this and their way to solve the problem was to either cram 80 people in their dining room (which I’d you’ve dined there, there’s no way that would’ve been comfortable), along with two other parties being there, or to offer catering at a hall. Neither of those options were what I envisioned for my baby shower, especially when I had been planning on using Lorenzo’s back room since November. There was zero communication on their end for months, and luckily I called 10 days before and not a week before, only to find out this extremely disappointing and unprofessional circumstance. I was left with no choice but to cancel, and while they did give me my deposit back, there was no sincere apology on their end, and now I had to scramble and try to find a new venue that would hold 80 guests who were expecting to show up on a certain day. Read moreOn Nov 2nd 2024 my family decided to try Lorenzo’s. We were told by our neighbors how great the food was and decided to give it a try. Well I can say I was very disappointed in the way we were handled once being seated. The person who was supposed to be our waiter (old gentleman gray hair big belly with glasses) ignored my family for 15 mins. He would look at our table but NEVER acknowledged our table! We waited for 15-20 mins. We watched as other tables who arrived after us be tended to and waited on. We were about to walk out when Tony realized we hadn’t been serviced and jumped right in and apologized ( he shouldn’t have because it wasn’t his fault). Tony definitely saved the night. It is a shame that Lorenzo’s has someone working there who I believe is rude and racist because he never acknowledged our table at all! First impressions mean a lot Tony was great, but we will not be back due to the rudeness of the other staff member! Read moreIt was a Thursday evening around 6pm. The dining room was empty. The kitchen got my order totally wrong. I had ordered the pork chops with peppers . I asked for only the hot peppers, no sweet peppers. I received the opposite, only sweet peppers, no hot peppers. So the waiter brought it back into the kitchen. They did a quick fix thinking it would be okay. But it only showed me they did not care at all because it still was not what I had ordered. They added hot peppers to the sweet peppers. And the peppers were not even cooked!! They were hard and cold! My dish was brought back to me ice cold. It was not even reheated. They really don't even deserve a 2. I'm actually being nice. I went with a friend of mine and although they did get her meal correct, she said it wasn't good at all. They have really gone downhill.
