Panda House — Restaurant in West Haven

I am a disabled veteran that lives 2 streets over from this restaurant Panda House. I order often because generally speaking the food is passable and very close by. Tonight I have no way of using my disability scooter because it is dark and I don't have a light in it and it's not very safe for a single female to trek around in my scooter at night. I called to place an order which came to 10 dollars. Please keep in mind they have a minimum order policy of 12 dollars. I explained my situation to them and told them I'm disabled, can't get there at night, I'm very close by, and a regular customer. This was translated to the head honcho mother who runs the place and she said no way no how. I even had them put her on the phone and she speaks English quite well so there were no words misinterpreted or lost. She was rude and indifferent only caring about the almighty dollar and would make no exception for a hungry veteran. I'm truly disgusted with this behavior and the attitude and the fa t that over 2 dollars they lost a good reliable friendly customer. I will never order from there again and I'd suggest since the management and ownership is this petty and greedy that you find another restaurant to do business with. They don't deserve your business. Truly a travesty and a sad after of affairs for the friendly and kind...

I went there because I don’t drive much and it was close when I got home I wanted a fried wonton so bad. I don’t know if it was old, the oil, anyway it didn’t smell right I couldn’t even bite into it so hard so I broke it in half. I don’t know what kind of meat was in it I actually pulled the meat out it was one hard piece have no idea what kind of meat it was but it was nearly black. I took another one the exact same taste couldn’t bite into this one either I did 3 all the same. The egg roll was drenched in dark oil, that tasted bad, the pork fried rice the rice was mush I’m wondering what is going on and the pork in it was dried out seemed like leftover chopped up meat from leftover ribs. I stood there watched them cooking I just couldn’t believe how it looked and tasted I didn’t even want to try the wonton soup. I had my sister try it 2 hours later she said it was awful, disgusting it was thrown out. I don’t know what they did but it was horrible has anyone else had the same experience please let me know I just need to know. I will NEVER EAT...

I'm NEVER ordering from panda house again!! I went over my order with them 3 times when I first placed my order 2 general chicken combos small side of shrimp lo mein and a 2 liter Pepsi I asked for the price and she told me 16$ and some change they take an hour and a half to deliver and I am a less then 3 mi drive from them...I open my food and one of my combos are missing I called them the lady answers the phone and she admits she forgot it and told mi it was on its way and she was sorry ...another hour goes by the combo is here the guy try to charge mi $8.25 for the missing combo and when i called the lady back shes yelling at mi trying to convince mi she didn't forget my combo that i "added it on " And the receipt for the food has nothing but 2 items written down as charged!! this is way to much to go through for take out and way to many options in west haven to go through this again they deserve no stars and they need to organize their...
