Sri Thai what??? I really don't have time to write this review in between dining and savoring the outstanding flavorful delicious dishes prepared by a talented chef!!! This wonderful family owned establishment takes pride in purchasing the freshest ingredients! The dance in your mouth flavor of each dish is ridiculously mouth watering and delicious. The presentation if you can take a minute to appreciate it before diving into this wonderful blessing to your palate😋😋 is worth taking a picture. (So sorry the amazing aroma and vision of these dishes, no photo it was an afterthought)😲🤗 My lovely daughter discovered this wonderful gem and I'll drive two towns over to get there, 25 minutes, it's so worth it. Please take the time to dine in if you can so serene and relaxing😌 Last but not least the kind, lovely, friendly server who takes great pride in presenting the best dishes and making sure you are pleased with your dish is wonderful. Once you go, you'll keep going back, patronize Sri Thai West Haven I tell you, you'll...
Read moreThe nicest people ever own this restaurant! Called to place a takeout order 20 minutes before closing and the woman was incredibly kind. I have met the owner, Paul, previously at another great restaurant in West Haven called "Iishin ramen bar". Wonderful family that truly cares about the food, their business and their community. The food itself is delicious, served super hot, and cooked from scratch using fresh ingredients. MSG free kitchen always if anyone is concerned about that (though MSG is perfectly fine and safe in all kinds of cuisine- do your own research if you are curious). I ordered the drunken noodles and crispy thai vegetable spring rolls along with a thai iced tea and everything was amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone that's in the mood for a comforting and delicious thai meal. Prices are VERY reasonable and on the cheaper side of things especially for what it is worth. Very cute on the inside too and would be great to bring friends, family, kids, or just a visit...
Read moreI ordered matcha bubble tea, tempura veggies, and the "choose your meat" oyster sauce with chicken. I was most looking forward to the boba, but it was a disappointment. The ratio of matcha to milk was off, being mostly milk flavor and tapioca syrup. The tempura wasn't what I expected. The usually thin coating was more like American deep fried, but wasn't terrible. The rice that came with it was not like I've had from any Thai or Asian restaurant, more like "boil in a bag" instant rice. The only reason I could maybe see myself ordering from them again is that the oyster sauce chicken was really good! I wish that the ratio of veggies to meat was higher, but I know I'm the minority there. However, considering the price for that, I still likely won't...
