I like this store but… it’s getting ridiculous at this point. Bought snakes here almost 4yrs ago now, brought them home completely mite infested. 3yrs ago brought home more snakes completely mite infested, 2yrs ago again completely mite infested and also covered in bloody wounds from being left in with live rats. Which I’ve seen them leave live rats in multiple different times while visiting the store and had to grab an employee to remove the snake from the tank as it was getting bitten and attacked by the rat and very obviously wasn’t interested in eating. And now, still all of their snakes are MITE INFESTED. I’ve seen Facebook posts of their animals infested, sick and having mouth/face/scale rot. Today I got some mice, they came in a box that was coated inside with dried out diarrhea. The smell was AWFUL when I opened the box. Smelled like straight crap and ammonia. Few hours later I’m finding mites all over my enclosures. I’m pissed off. I won’t be returning again, it’s sad because I used to come here in my childhood and loved this place but it’s absolutely ridiculous at this point.

Very, very disappointed....Kristine was a good salesperson but not giving proper advices on how to care for my goldfish...She knew it was a new fish pond bought at Loew's....My husband was there telling me you need a pump....She kept quiet...even though I learnt today from a guy there , you need to purified your water before putting them in...They sell it there....she didn't say anything...it was nearly 8...she wanted to wrap it up as quiclky as possible ...I was excited to get my 8 fish home....on the next day , they were all dead...I'm so hurt and shocked the owner won't pay me back for her mistakes...I won't give them another chance...it's over...!!!

Don’t let the looks intimidate or fool you. They have HIGH quality pets in there to adopt. I first bought a bunch of cheap fresh water fish to see how they hold up. When I buy them from a “commercial” store I expect some of them to die. All of my adoptees made it through the transition showing and proving that their inventory is healthy. They are also very consistent with the live food. I know like night crawlers, wiggle or trout worms, meal worms, and I’ve seen mice so I know there’s snakes too Reasonably priced, convenient, reliable, and personable

I shop here all the time for my feeders for my african fattail and my bearded dragon. They do have great feeders that are nutricious and well maintained here for your reptiles and a great selection as well. The only thing bad about this place i would say is their reptile care. In most of the cages you will see mites, they are extremely bad and uncomfortable for reptiles. You only get mites if you are not caring for the cages properly and once you get them you CAN get rid of them, they just don't apparently. I also bought my beardie here as a baby and i felt so bad for him. He was extremely calcium deprived having seisures daily and i had to nurse him back to health. I almost lost him so many times. But after about 6 weeks of properly being cared for he was finally healthy. Be careful when buying your reptiles here. Many of them look fine at first but once you are around them after a while you realize they are actually sick. Many are hungry, dehydrated, scared of people, and calcium deprived. Be careful! They just dont exactly seem to know what they are doing when caring for...

It’s been a while since my last purchase here, but as I began searching for a new reptile, this company came up again in my results. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning. Years ago, I purchased a ball python from this store, and within just a couple of weeks, it showed clear signs of a mite infestation.

The snake became agitated, frequently hissing and striking at the tank whenever someone walked by. It would often burrow under the bedding or soak constantly in its water dish with only its nostrils exposed—classic behavior for a snake dealing with mites.

When I brought my concerns to the store, I was met with complete denial and no real support. They insisted the mites didn’t come from them, despite the fact that there was no other possible source of exposure. The lack of accountability was frustrating.

Additionally, the store itself felt overcrowded and poorly maintained, with animals and supplies packed in tightly. Overall, the experience left a very bad impression, and I would not recommend...
