Neighborhood Vintner — Restaurant in West Lake Hills

Incredible new wine shop / wine bar hybrid. Extensive 20+ options by the glass with so many bottle options to pull straight from the wall. You can either stay and drink at one of two bar setups or take your bottles home with you. They spared no expense with beautiful finishes and high-end glassware. There’s a wine for everyone, regardless of your preference for well-known classics or new kids on the block. I enjoyed a 2006 Beaucastel Chateauneuf du Pape and a 2018 Langhe riesling from Borgogno.

And the people running this spot are long-time industry veterans who are just so pleasant to be with. None of that stuffy somm snootery 😜 just a lot of knowledge to help you along your wine journey and bring you pleasure in a glass (or bottle).

This place is the best!!! I read about Neighborhood Vintner’s opening on IG and am so glad I did!! The curation is extensive and extremely thoughtful. We bought a few bottles of wine and had a couple glasses there - Paul, Lisa, and Matt were super friendly and knowledgeable. Finally what Austin has been missing! This spot has it all whether you're a sommelier or a newb. Warm welcomes, massive selection, and a great atmosphere! Nothing has been left to chance right down to the glassware and the green velvet chairs. Go geek out with Paul, Lisa, and Nathan or just crush a glass with some truffle...
