I am a faithful, long time supporter of Starbucks and have been a star rewards card holder for nearly a decade now. However, the Bee Caves Starbucks completely sucks. I came in today for the first time this morning since I wanted a change of scenery from the Starbucks I typically frequent. HUGE mistake. Places like this are the reason why my personality is the way it is: I'd rather frequent quality places I'm familiar with than try something new and be unexpectedly disappointed like this.
I literally just arrived, ordered my drink and settled in 15 minutes ago before a barista came up to my table telling me that they just closed at 12:00pm. WHAT?!? At NOON on a busy Sunday when the sun is shining and the store is bustling?! It made absolutely no sense to me.
So, I ask this barista what the store's hours are. He says has no idea and gives me the lame excuse that he doesn't typically work there & was just helping them for the day. Well, he is working there today so he SHOULD know their hours, especially if he is telling people to leave because they are now closed. I ask him to ask another barista. His lazy self refuses to, so he starts turning to glance at the door but doesn't completely check the schedule.
He makes something up, telling me they close at 8pm on Sundays. Not the case. I check the hours at the door and go back to the counter where he now is, telling him the correct hours. He blankly stares at me before making more excuses that don't make any sense. Pathetic! How inconvenient and what a waste of my time. All the other customers in the store were also irritated they were closing. Don't bother coming here just to be annoyed and inconvenienced by workers who don't know what...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is definitely one of the best Starbuck's in Austin.
Since this Pandemic started I've been going to a bunch of different Starbuck's in a lot of places just to get out of the house.
Last week one of my regular places was closed until 8 am unusually. I couldn't go through the drive-through as I was on my motorcycle. I went to another. It too was closed at 7:30, although the sign said it opened at 7. I went to a third location. Their Nitro Brew machine wasn't working, so I couldn't get my drink of choice. Not only that, no one at this particular store knows where the pepper is. I like pepper on my egg bites, but they don't "have" it at this store. I guess with all the issues going on in the world today this is a high class problem. That was a very disappointing Starbuck's day for me though.
This store is special due to the terrific staff there. There's one Barista, Jeremy, who's just amazing. Not only is he really nice, friendly and funny, but he knows everything about all of their drinks and food. They always have pepper and anything else I want or need. When I mentioned how nice it was that they had pepper, he gave me a few extra packets in a bag to take with me.
Very refreshing and fun to see someone who takes such pride in doing a great job and truly enjoys interacting with...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOne of the worst Starbucks experiences Iāve had hands down. I walked in and asked for a Grande Soy Latte and a Tall Hot Tea. The cashier charged me for both and then proceeded to grab two yāall cups, at which point, I clarified that Iād asked for one Tall drink and one Grande drink. The cashier assured me that heād grabbed one of each. The lady ahead of me got her drink. The two people behind me in line got their drinks, which irritated me, since Iād ordered before them and there was no apparent reason for my drinks to be delayed. When my first drink comes out, the barista calls it as a Tall. Same for the second. I was confused and explained that I had ordered one Grande and one Tall drink. At first she insisted that I had paid for two Tall drinks. I asked her to print a copy of my receipt. Sure enough, Iād paid for one Tall and one Grande drink.
Now, Iām not annoyed that they made a mistake. Mistakes happen. Iām royally pissed because they disrespected me, acting like I was making things up, and helped customers who had arrived after me first. It doesnāt help that I was the only minority in the entire store. Will not be returning to this store for sure, and reporting this...
