As I sit here and read all of these reviews I want to say first, I understand and appreciate everyone's input. Now, here is my first person point of view. I am a waitress at Asian Fusion. So I am going to let you in to my work environment so that maybe y'all can understand the reasons behind some of your reviews. Staff consists 5 Servers. Tuesday thru Sunday we have 3 servers for each section. Servers are responsible for setting up front, back ( cold bar food), and clean up. One Server at any given moment has up to 60 people to take care of. Imagine this... Table of 10, drinks, plates, refills.. Etc now at the same time more tables are coming in so you are already rushed and want to make sure each table gets every thing they need. Now when another server goes on break, sometimes 2 servers will go on break which means you are responsible for the WHOLE restaurant! I have had over 85 people at one time to serve! I make tickets, dispose of plates, refills, clean tables, sweep, refill my own ice bin, bust my tables, take cart to back, restock etc... Also host and check customers out while I am trying to serve my tables! Customers can be very rude and very demanding but I go ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure the customer has a great dining experience. I apologize if the restaurant is not sparkling clean. But I am ONLY one person. I am a damn good waitress! I love my job, and enjoy serving the consumers that come in. I am trying my hardest to get this restaurant back on track. I have great Bosses and they are doing their best to please the consumers of West Memphis. The Buffet is restocked continually throughout the day as well as the Sushi. I am sorry if you had terrible service, just know we are working on all the issues that have been stressed to us. I take pride in my job, and I love what I do. By the end of my shift, I am exhausted but that doesnt stop me in making sure you all get the best service possible. Please give us another shot! Request me as your Server and I will try my hardest to give you the best customer service!...
Read moreSo you can me stubborn and I will agree. We went to this place during the daytime about a year or so ago and it was ok. When we went in there were only a few people there but hey it's Tuesday night. We got the buffet. The buffet cost more at night because there is usually more selection and more seafood. Nope, not here. There was hardly anything to eat there that didnt look like it had been there for a long time. If the lack of food wasn't bad enough here come the waiter. I knew he was coming because his body odor got there about 5 minutos before he did and didn't leave for 10 after he left. We want to leave long before now due to the window factor. Now the window factor is when i pull up to a place and the windows are greasy dirty well, I ain't eatin there. I was talking when we pulled and I didn't look. Boy was that my bad. I did look while i was trying to eat and it looked as if our waiter's body odor was all over them. As if he took time out to smear his loud pits on the windows. Ikr? We go to pay and i told the girl that if we just had to pay it should be for a cheaper lunch buffet since they had no food. She goes to get the guy whom I assumes poorly runs the place. The bill was 35$. Whaaaat? The semi manager/once a week bather said he would give my boyfriend a senior citizen discount and I let him know I was not a senior so I got a 15% discount. Now you would think it would have taken the bill down a bit but no, it did not. After Jethro figured up our discount our bill plummeted, ( I'm lying) he told us our bill was (drumroll plz), $31.92. WOW!!! I WASN'T EXCITED. They should've paid US. The place looked like a science project went wrong and smelled like "I take a bath every Saturday whether I need it or not". Also they DID NOT SERVE COKE. I don't care for Pepsi. They should serve both. You could at least have something you could put in your mouth without gagging at the sight of the windows. I highly recommend sñapping yourself if you even think of eating at the Armpit Buffet. Have a great time going out of...
Read moreFood was bland and there was not a lot of variety on the buffet and we got there a little after 6pm. We were there for about 45 minutes and not once did the waiter come to refresh our drinks or ask if there w anything we needed. When my husband asked the waiter if they were serious about the limited options. The waiter’s response was, and this is verbatim, “did you look at the buffet before you sat down? And you still chose to stay?” He then proceeded to walk away. Needless to say, this response was unacceptable! We asked the hostess (who is the best thing this restaurant has going for it) for the manager and she said there was no manager on site. When my husband said we weren’t going to pay, she went in the back and was apparently told to relay to us that if we didn’t pay they would have to call the police. My husband advised her that it wasn’t the issue of money, it was about not being able to speak with manager to resolve an issue. After about 30 minutes, the kitchen manager finally came out. Although our meal was comped, he seemed nonchalant about the limited options saying they refilled the buffet at least twice since we had arrived. This was incorrect because my husband was facing the buffet and watching for food to be brought out. Again, the KM found an excuse for everything. You can best believe we will NEVER go there again. To top it off, there was another customer who frequents the restaurant several times a week who has witnessed the same waiter be extremely rude...
