The Touch Of Three — Restaurant in West Orange

Although I haven't been there yet, I'm giving 5 stars in anticipation of a great experience. I recently called to inquire about night time entertainment. I was told that there was a band on Sunday from 4 to 8Pm. I really hope that there will be additional entertainment on the weekends and during the week as there are in other places around here. Check out the South Valley Barbeque daily schedule of activities as an example. There's also karaoke nights as well as happy hour, deejay music, etc. at some other places around here. My folks and I always enjoy a good meal, but we also love additional entertainment. I've lived around the corner from where you are, for 50 years, and would love to see you succeed. We forgot about the BYOB option, but there's a liquor store nearby. The owner came to our table, greeted us warmly, and introduced his son, who is the cook. My experience at " The Touch of Three " was very disappointing. This establishment has been in Essex County for decades I was extremely excited because it is now a B.O.B (black own business). What should have been a five course dinner, turned into a buffet with portions served were a small sample sized for tasting, NOT A FULL COURSE MEAL. I always want to support a B.O.B., but you have got to do better. The wait servers wore tracks suits and sneakers., we stood in a buffet line with one server for 100 guest, totally unacceptable. My church held their holiday gala here on 12/16. What I thought was going to be an elegant evening turned out to be a big disappointment. The event started at 5:30 but we did not get food until about 7:30. The five course meal we were promised turned out to be a buffet with kid size portions being served of rice, green beans, salmon, pasta, some kind of beef, a dinner roll and they ran out before everyone was served.
