Austin Republic — Restaurant in West Palm Beach

Being native Texans, always on the look out for great BBQ, that has proven to be pretty difficult here in S FL.... until today! We stopped by this cozy outside venue with hopeful expectations and was pleasantly surprised. The experience from the very beginning included what we are used to in Texas with friendly, polite service, followed by very tasty BBQ brisket (done right!), great tasting ranchero beans and tender pulled pork. We had a nice visit with the owner who shared the scope of their exciting plans for whats coming, (live music, more great food and a casual fun, relaxed atmosphere). We're pretty excited about returning to see what we're sure will be a neighborhood hit! Great job...

WHAT A MAGICAL FIND!! Was actually on my way to another spot for food. It was the set up right on Dixie Highway that first caught my attention, the outdoor bistro lights strung up on the huge shaded tree, picnic benches, and live entertainment, definitely Austin vibes 👌🏾 so I threw the car in park! SO happy my friend and I dropped by because WOW this spot is 🔥 🔥 🔥. Had the Brisket, Mac and cheese, the Veggie 🌮 and 🍺 🤤 . It was delicious and their set up is excellent. Love that they have this set up while their brick and mortar restaurant is under construction. Great concept!!

Outstanding food. Our large party sampled some apps, sandwiches and dinners. Large portions and variety. A must is the Taquitos!! The ribs were my favorite. Reminded me of the preeminent rib joints around Asheville NC. The brisket had a bark that was perfect and it had the best mixture of fat to meat ratio. Turkey was so moist and delicious. Nothing really required sauce but a little went a long way especially on the pulled pork. Kids had a fun time with the claw machine which for $1 guaranteed they retrieved a prize.
