The flavor of the food was all really good, nothing to complain about there. We ordered as a take out their famous cheese burger and the Wygu breakfast burrito. They got our order wrong and gave us the wrong burrito so we had to go back for them to re make our burrito. They told us to keep the Wygu burrito they incorrectly gave us so we had an opportunity to try both burritos on the menu. Let’s start with the Wygu burger. We opted for the 2.00 up charge truffle aioli which was very good. When we opened the box we were pretty shocked by the small size of the burger giving the high price point of 20 bucks. We were also very disappointed by the cheap grocery store style potato bun they used. Very very small flat basic bun. We could see where the bun was detached from other buns which is very telling that the bun was mass produced off the shelf generic bread as well as The taste and consistency so I say this with confidence.
A burger which has two key ingredients, meat and bread, those two items should be the star of the show. They should honestly either be making fresh brioche buns or sourcing from a nearby bakery. For me the meat was juicy but the burger did not knock out socks off. The Wygu burrito neither my wife or I cared for as it was lacking meat and was 90% rice and beans. It was giving chipotle vibes minus the guac. As for the breakfast burrito when we finally got it, was honestly the star of the show. I’ll admit it was a little oily but it was delicious. We were both thinking this place is a one and done but the breakfast burrito would definitely make us come back for that item specifically and perhaps try something else on the menu. Nice staff, they just need to focus on order accuracy, and nice take out packaging. Taste is subjective, but I really hope management will take my advice on the bun for the burger because that bun really does not elevate the meat in any way… unfortunately, I forgot to take a photo of the burger, but I did take a photo of both burritos one of which showing a lot of rice I had to empty out of my half and then the breakfast burrito which again...

Read moreNoticed that most of the reviews are on the cooked items. My experience is with the butcher counter. In October purchased two A5/A4 strip loin steaks. Cooked them on the grill and was very happy with the flavor and tenderness. So much so, that I invited special guest to our home November to enjoy Wagyu steaks for dinner. The day before the dinner went to buy steaks in the morning, only one available. I asked if they would have more and the person at the counter said comeback in a couple hours. I came back, no steaks available. I was then told, that the butcher hadn’t come in that day and try back tomorrow. I explained that I needed the steaks for a special dinner the next day and if they couldn’t provide them would go somewhere else. I was told to comeback by 11am the next morning and they would have the steaks out. When I came the next day, guess what? No steaks. The counter person said the butcher hadn’t come in yet and that he felt uncomfortable cutting the whole strip loin into steaks. I reminded the same counter person who said comeback that he said comeback. He said sorry, wait and he would cut the steaks for me. So I waited about 30 minutes for him to cut 4 steaks. When I got them, I was doubtful it was the same product as before. It didn’t have the same marbling as the one lone steak in glass counter either, nor the ones I purchased last time. I asked if it was the same and was assured it was. The steaks once grilled medium rare, same as the first time I tried where tough and had no flavor, personally I felt embarrassed calling them Wagyu as most prime steaks tasted better and more tender that what I bought. Will not be back, buy...
