The place was small and packed however after about a 15-minute wait they sat our party of 8 in their outside dining area. It was a cool night and pleasant so we welcomed it. The place has a very casual eclectic feel with every inch of wall and ceiling covered in decor. The decor was conversational while waiting to be seated. Once seated the service was quick and drinks were on the table first. One in our party got the 5 beer sampling which came on glasses placed on a wooden paddle; other cocktails were nicely presented as well -- adults enjoyed them. The group had varied taste buds ordering a variety of burgers, chicken wings, and chicken sandwiches; burgers complimented with a side. The fries were the favorite side for all. I received about 3 actual French fries with the balance of the portion being partial crunchy pieces that perhaps were leftover in their fryer. The burgers everyone enjoyed, were made to each's liking and looked very appetizing and presented on a wooden board. Those ordering chicken wings had ordered spicy wings but although cooked well the wings were disappointing as no heat was experienced. A Mahi Mahi sandwich was also ordered and a bit underwhelmed in taste, the one ordering it described it tasted like a 'definite healthy choice'. Perhaps adding a sauce to the mahi mahi bun would have peaked the flavor. All said, our group did enjoy our time as well as the food; just a few tweaks perhaps in taste, fries portions, and service having a smile. We would definitely give it...

We have eaten at Dixie Grill & Brewery a few times in the past 6 yrs or so. Food was always amazing. The decor nostalgic

Today we were very disappointed!

Let's start with the appetizer. We ALWAYS order the gator. Let's just say we ate deep fried batter with just a HINT of gator. For $14, we couldn't let this go unnoticed. The hostess was gracious and didn't charge us for whatever it was they thought was gator. They used to be nice portion sizes. As big as a chicken tender. Reminds me of that old Wendy's commercial, "Where's the beef?" But it was more like "Where's the gator?"

Kids ordered burgers and fries. Nice big burgers, fries were fresh potatoes.

Hubby ordered the California chicken club. He was disappointed with the thin 'cutlet' of chicken. The tomato was thicker and wider than the chicken.

I opted for the Adult mac n cheese. Hardly any chicken. They used to give half inch slices of asparagus. Those tiny green things maybe about 1/8 of an inch was supposed to be the asparagus. I pulled the chicken out and put it on the side along with some of the asparagus so you can see the portions. $17 for this dish. I've ordered this before and had leftovers to bring home. I ate it all and will need a second dinner. SAD, VERY VERY SAD!

$81 for family of 4. At least we didn't get charged for the NON-gator, gator bites.

We are soooooo disappointed! We will...

This place was cool and quirky at the same time. It had the feel of one of those dive bars with dollar bills plastered on every wall and the ceiling. If you know, you know. Anyway, we were in the mood for a different place for dinner and chose this spot. The pictures of the ceiling were more interesting than any picture I could have taken of the food. We started out with 2 soft pretzels (cut up) with their house cheese sauce to dip them in. The sauce was decadently cheesey, savory, and flavorful. Would highly recommend this for an appetizer. We also got some pork sliders. These weren't as exciting as the pretzel, but they didn't disappoint. The family opted to have burgers all the way around. Only 2 of us got the same one (with the fried egg on it). Can't remember any of the names of the burgers, but they all got inhaled. There were no survivors...lol. A couple of us tried the mac and cheese instead of fries. Even though our server swore up and down on the mac and cheese, I think it fell short of the mark. The fries were excellent, though, and I will definitely order that as a side the next time. Overall, this was perfect for a change of scenery, atmosphere, and tastes. Come as you are, there's neat stuff to gaze at on the ceiling while you're waiting for your food. I saw a lunchbox that I had as a kid hiding up there! Pigs in Space from...
