If you’re looking for delicious food and great margaritas…. YOU HAVE FOUND IT! not to mention, service was great. I came in after seeing a post on facebook of Don Jose’s Grand opening and figured why not try it out? Let me tell you, I’m so happy I did. Me and my roommate were welcomed in and seated immediately, had our drink orders taken and we both ordered Margaritas, some options had chamoy and Tajin rims (if you haven’t had that before, definitely try it out) but the drinks we were set on didn’t come with it. So I asked and our waitress (I believe she said her name was Andrea?) and she informed us we could add it to any of the drinks. they were great. then it came to ordering our food and we asked our waitress what she would recommend, she pointed my roommate to a burrito and me to the Chez platter. my roommate was raving about his order and I can easily say the same for myself, I think the look of the dishes speaks for themselves. This restaurant has the best Mexican food around!! Everytime I go in to eat, I’m always greeted with smiles and a big “welcome in”. If there’s ever a wait time, it is always fast and you never have to wait long for a table. And when you get sat down they have your chips and sauces ready for you. Then when you look at the menu you can see all the awesome looking foods that they have, my favorite is the cheese quesadillas especially with pineapple but everything else I’ve tried has always tasted amazing!!! And when your done eating and ready to check out, your always greeted nicely at the cash register and asked how everything was. Overall I love going to Don Jose!! Don Jose's is Pelzer's gem!! The owners are the most friendly family, they always remember us (and our order because we can't get enough) the tortas, quesabirria, & margs are our favorites. Bingo night is a blast! We love all they do to make Pelzer fun & exciting. Plus the food is beyond delicious & so fresh! We just think the world of them & recommend the restaurant to everyone we know!
