Cotton Duck Cafe — Restaurant in West Pelzer

We were so excited to try the Cotton Duck, and were beyond disappointed with our experience. Saturday afternoon was very busy. We should have known when we entered and saw the tables filled but the people with no food or drinks and anxiously waiting. We only ordered two speciality coffees. We sat the counter bar area for 30 minutes while we watched the three little girls struggle with trying to keep up. Another little girl came in around 2pm and we were hopeful that would help speed things up. It appears that the cups and straws are on the opposite side of the ice and where drinks are made, which didn’t seem very efficient. We watched one little girl make one water at the time and wander around looking lost. We watched one girl that was preparing food working very hard and thankful that while we were waiting another little girl jumped into to help her. We finally asked for our money back as the girls in attempting to make drinks and take orders continued to struggle and be overwhelmed with making waters and teas. Very...

I feel like if I have a good iced coffee to start off the morning the right way, the rest of the day is set because if it does happen to go south, at least I had a good iced coffee. 😎 So, I swung by Cotton Duck Café for just that. Soo nice!!!

I got the Sticky Duck, their honey latte. Super yummy! I love that they didn’t overload the drink with ice because I needed a little pick-me-up mid-day. And you know what!? It tasted exactly the same as it did this morning. Very impressed!

Cotton Duck Cafe also serves made-to-order breakfast and lunch, as well as freshly baked goodies, for those that want a bite to eat.

My husband and I just stopped here for the first time today, and wow! The food was fresh and tasted excellent! He had a breakfast wrap and a latte and I had the buffalo chicken wrap and a dirty spiced chai latte. That chai was everything!! I am not exaggerating when I say it’s the best one I have ever had. I’m now kicking myself that it took so long to try this place out! The atmosphere is really nice, also. The employees were super friendly and I definitely took notice of the fact that they were all working. Whenever a party left, someone was right there cleaning up the table.
