Although I have yet to visit the main location, our recent experience at this establishment guarantees that I will in the near future. We sampled a pulled pork sandwich and a two-meat platter featuring sausage and brisket, accompanied by baked beans and Texas caviar as sides.
The pulled pork stood out as the highlight of the meal, with the brisket following closely behind. Both meats were exceptionally tender and flavorful, perfectly complementing the robust and well-balanced BBQ sauces—both the spicy and regular varieties. The Texas caviar was equally noteworthy, with its subtle hints of cilantro and vinegar providing a refreshing palate cleanser between bites.
Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to BBQ enthusiasts seeking a satisfying and flavorful dining experience.

Read moreIt’s…okay! food is solid but portions are small— two slices of brisket per meal, less than a handful of pulled pork which is wrapped in a plastic ball and paper and put in a container…kinda weird. Also, either the online menu is inaccurate or the server missed it but there is no white bread with the meal. Not that my meal is made or broken by a slice of bread but when the portions are already small for $17 takeout, doesn’t help. Who knows, maybe it’s a busy weekend and they cut down everyone’s portions, brisket is always expensive but these takeout sizes are like an appetizer. Would probably go back for mediocre dinner wouldn’t be dying to recommend...
Read moreFast friendly service, BUT the meat portions are small, especially considering the price. You'd get more meat for less money at Mission BBQ. On a positive note, the side dishes such as the Mac-n-Cheese are in larger portions than at other places, but we didn't think Stampede's Mac-n-Cheese was good (it didn't taste right). The staff at the food truck was very friendly and nice, but the meat portions were too small for the price, and it's just not worth going...
