Pizza Montese's — Restaurant in West Virginia

My family and I went to Pizza Montese at 7:30. When we arrived, there were customers at only 4 other tables. My family of 2 ordered the buffet and I ordered a Panini. By the time my family had eaten their salads and pizza and made their way to dessert, my Panini had still not arrived. However, people who had arrived after us, who had ordered Paninis had received theirs.

Almost 30 minutes after I ordered the Panini, I walked up to the counter and asked if my sandwich had been lost. I also said that if my sandwich order had not been started, I wanted my money back. The girl went to inquire as to the status of my sandwich. She returned shortly and said the other girl was putting together the sandwich.

5 minutes later the sandwich came to me. It came to me between 2 warm prebaked pieces of bread with cold cut meats with lettuce, onions, and tomato. It was supposed to have come to me grilled.

The last time I ordered the sandwich, it had been forgotten as well. That time the sandwich was 25 minutes late, but at least when it got to me it had been grilled.

I am advising people to skip Pizza Montese altogether! If you have to through your money away, there are 3 other restaurants in the same mini-strip mall, 2 Oriental and 1 Mexican. Within the same area, there is also McDonalds, Subway, Burger King, Barney’s, Domino’s Subs and Sheetz. If you want authentic Italian food, there is Kings on Highway 11 at Exit 23 (off of I-81). There is also Red Lantern, good Oriental food at an inexpensive price.

The restaurant's lack of customer service and appreciation left a lasting impression on me. I haven't...

I was never asked if I wanted to purchase drinks she just put cups on the counter I said I didn’t want drinks but yet I was still charged..I carry a bottle of water every time I go out to eat and I have several times here as well.. so when I was seated I called her over and disputed the $6 charge..she blurted out that I was not allowed to bring my water in there but she would check with the owner..mind you we were in the far corner booth and we could hear every word she was saying as well as could the entire restaurant..she was very obnoxious..she then brings me $6 cash and hands it to me and I say again to her this isn’t the first time I’ve brought water in there and I don’t even drink with my meal ever..she blurts out loudly that she he’s been working there for 36 years and she knows…I’m thinking opening in 2012 til now is no 36 years..she leaves and a little while later she comes and asks if we need anything else and of course by then we are publicly embarrassed so we don’t answer her and she keeps walking and loudly answers herself in a smartass tone..we will not be going back there and I would advise...

First time we ever went in this place was today. Took my kids for Valentine's day. First my credit card was declined twice and yes there was money on card had pay with cash. Second the salad bar was disgusting. The salad was brown, cucumbers look like they sat all day. To top that part off the girl who took are cash was touching with the salad with her bare hands. The pizza wasn't to bad until I had a piece of the buffalo chicken and chicken was so hard I could not eat it. Meatballs and French fries where cold. There bread sticks and not sure what those other things were but think they supposed to be cinnamon rolls look like egg rolls and so burnt could not eat those either. They had 3 desserts chocolate chip pie 1 blue berry muffin and something else that had lid over it but look very runny. My kids wanted ice cream cones there was 2 cones laying on table and no more in canister. Finally when we had used restrooms the men's room was broke and women's had no soap to wash our hands. I will never go there again!!! Worse first...
