Marginal food with zero ambience and the most uncomfortable seating I've ever had. No booths. Rock hard chairs. Very sterile environment. Ice cold. No niche areas to separate from any other of the dining areas. Office cubicle like partitions. No personality, a few little trinkity things stapled to the wall but overall very generic and feels like a military cafeteria mess hall. The pancakes tasted like onions from whatever last got cooked on the grill. Menus are difficult to read. Whoever did their graphic design doesn't know what they're doing. I was expecting this to have a country kitchen feel with carpets and booths but it's nothing but wooden chairs that are ridiculously uncomfortable. No personality, no charm, nothing unique on the menu that would make this place a destination. Go to Spring Mills diner up the street for much better food and more ambiance. And I don't even see the point of the bakery goods. They're marginal. Chocolate chip cookies are very dense and can't really finish one in one sitting. Cut it in half and eat it the next day with your coffee because it...
Read more100% finished with Apple Annie’s. Terrible service perpetuated by an unprofessional owner. Who cares how the food is when you have to wait 45 minutes for it only to be treated like crap by an owner who couldn’t even PRETEND to care?! He was sitting right next to me, witnessing the delay on a simple 2-egg breakfast, didn’t once get up to check on the issue or say anything apologetic to me. The place was not even crowded. When I asked about it, he was horrible: “What do you want me to do about it?! You want me to go in the back and beat them? You come in here and demand perfection!” I didn’t and I don’t..
I’ve been there three times — long waits and service issues each time. So this was not a one-off issue. But the owner’s attitude shows he is clearly not interested in improvement and doesn’t really care about the customer experience. For that reason alone, I won’t...
Read moreArrived before opening so I was in the door at 7:00 to order breakfast to go. Breakfast burrito and home fries. The menu says comes with home fries but asked if I wanted them or not. If optional give price without home fries. About 25 minutes later I asked about my order, told almost done. Finally a few minutes later my food comes, had to wait another couple of minutes for ketchup as they have no to go packs. Burrito was good, home fries were rubbery with no flavor whatsoever. Threw them out after two bites. If food orders are going to take almost 30 minutes, I do not expect them to be open long. I will try again as I believe they did not start the potatoes prior to opening. Three employees came scurrying in about two minutes before opening and headed to the back, they stayed in the back so maybe a cook or two were the later...
