This restaurant deserves 💖💖💖.
This place is amazing and it reminds of "Texas Roadhouse". But this is waaaaaaay better. There is many options that comes into mind. There is burgers, sandwiches, soups, salads, fajitas... well forget about that. Just go straight to the Steak... or Ribs which is what this place is known for.
As soon as i open that door, i had a feeling the food here would be amazing. I order the a full rack of Ribs on Tuesday night which gave me a $5 discount and i also got Sweet Tea which came in a big country style jug.
The Ribs, however, lifted my taste buds beyond my expectations. The awesome glazzy sauce they put over it tasted facinating. You can feel the sparkingly test of charcoal through the Ribs which gave it a delightful end taste.
I RECCOMEND EATING THE RIBS AS YOUR FIRST IMPRESSION OF THIS DELIGHTFUL AND TERRIFIC RESTAURANT!
As my sides i got the grilled shrimp and the Sweet Potato Fries.
The cinnamon butter for the sweet potato fries is like eating the best dessert in the world. The cocktail sauce for the shrimp is like dipping your stress away.
2 soft drinks, 1 order of full rack of Ribs (comes with 2 sides) in Tuesday night for a total of about $20.
Ladies and Gentlemen, never forget that many times, cheaper the food the better it is. The more expensive the food, the more bad it is.
After eating everything. I would rate this restaurant a 12/10 and would reccomend to anyone, especially the nearby Truck Drivers and Families.
This restaurant should be included in the Top 10 restaurants in West Virginia and Top 100 restaurants in USA 2018.
Ever since i review places, this restaurant became one if my most favorite places that i have ever eaten. Thank you so much and i loved the courtesy of...
Read moreSo far, I've tried a few menu items. The "Big Pig," was amazing and I highly recommend it. The "Ada the Cow" burger can compete with any burger joint. The Reuben was delicious, but please consider using hearty rye bread for this sandwich - it disintegrated before I was done.
Update: Wings were on special today, and these wings are 🔥. I had the Die Hard, the Mango Habanero, the Nashville Hot. Each was flavorful with just the right amount of "heat." Try them!
Update: I removed two stars from the "Food" rating and the overall rating. Today, we started with cheese curds, which were okay. I ordered a steak hoagie that does not appear on their web menui, so I cannot recall the name. It had beef tips, onions, peppers, two kinds of cheeses and creamy Italian dressing on the side. It was BAD... The beef, ordered medium, was well done and had more than one large peice of gristle. The onions were simply inedible. They could not be bitten or chewed. They weren't raw, they weren't carmalized... I don't understand what could be done to sliced onions to turn them to twine, but that was the consistency! They had to be pulled out of the sandwich. My chips were old and burnt. My son had the ribs and said they were tough enough to require knife and fork. I have a hard time believing a chef or cook would be completely unaware of what they were serving, so I place the blame squarely with the kitchen staff of 11/09/24. This was NOT a $50 meal.
I don't think I'll be back for a while, but based on previous meals, I think Ruttenbucks does deserve another...
Read moreThis is the second time here. The first time was amazing, the second was not so great. I had the special which was ribeye and two sides and added the 4 bones (ribs for a few dollars extra). The ribs were very good like the first time, the 5 bean side was also great, and the sweet tea was delicious. The issue was the ribeye and fries and slightly the service. The ribeye was so tough I literally left half of it on the plate because my jaws hurt from trying to chew through the thing (ordered medium but was definitely well). The fries were cold, not even what I would call warm. The waitress was very sweet and did ask if I wanted something else but after it took so long to get my food I wasn't about that. The only real issue with the service was the ladies were too concerned with their cell phones to pay attention to their customers as far as refills go. She did check on me a few times with the food, especially when she saw me trying to chew through a piece of steak. They do definitely need to have rolls or peanuts or something while you wait for an eternity for your food. The manager or owner definitely does pick the appropriate look for the waitresses and hostesses. The name of the restaurant is fitting. The poor girls probably get harassed constantly. Will try again though because the first time was amazing and everywhere has bad days. With the exception of the restroom, which is interesting lol, the decor is very interesting and nice. Don't be jerks when you review places and remember people are humans and make mistakes and...
