20180630 - There is a sign on the cash register which states "If you are not given a reciept, then your purchase if free." I purchased a sandwich and scone, paid for the food and the clerk handed me my change but no reciept. I stepped side ways and waited for him to start ringing up the next customer. When he began with the next customer, I said out loud , I did not get a reciept, picked up the sign and handed it to the clerk. He called the manager and she refunded my purchase price to me. If you go to Old Faithful Inn, look for this sign and wait to see if you get a reciept. If you do not, you purchase will be free too. Imagine, a free meal in Yellowstone!

There was a line out the door for Ice Cream with only one un-motivated employee scooping. We skirted around the ice cream line to the food area which was much shorter. The "deli" was ridiculously priced sandwiches that were about on par with the gas station variety. Spent $50 dollars on a handful of items for 2 adults and 2 children. I've been to Yellowstone multiple times in my life, this time the thing that sadly stood out most to me were the employees of the stores and restaurants. Worst by far of all my visits, while I noticed the workers outside the park in West Yellowstone were much more polite and respectful. Sure we're all tourists, but we are the reason you have jobs. Could be good, but isn't currently. Long line. Not enough staff. Kids Milk carton we bought was sour so had to have manager pour us some fresh milk.
