Absolutely Outstanding! A True Gem for Coffee Lovers. Peregrine Coffee Roasters is hands down one of the best coffee experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the rich, inviting aroma of freshly roasted beans and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The quality of their coffee is exceptional. You can truly taste the care and craftsmanship in every cup — whether it’s a pour-over, a latte, or just a simple drip, every brew is smooth, bold, and perfectly balanced. Their beans are clearly sourced and roasted with passion, and it shows. What really sets Peregrine apart is the staff. Friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about coffee, they’re always happy to make recommendations or talk about the beans they’re roasting. It feels less like a transaction and more like a shared appreciation for great coffee. The shop itself is beautifully designed — clean, cozy, and the perfect spot to relax, work, or catch up with friends. The vibe is laid-back but professional, with attention to every little detail that makes a big difference. If you’re a coffee enthusiast or just someone looking for a consistently excellent cup of coffee, Peregrine Coffee Roasters is a must-visit. It’s more than just a coffee shop — it’s a place where coffee culture thrives. Can’t...
Read morePeregrine is truly an exceptional cafè experience with incredible coffee. I lived in Italy for 3 years and Peregrine foremost serves some of the best espressos and macchiatos I’ve had, as well as exceptional service, easy conversation and an artisan atmosphere which reminds me of my time in small mountain towns in the Northern Italian Alps. In fact, Steven has handcrafted most, if not all, of wood furnishings inside his cafè with great style. They even took the time to show me their roasting operation next door and the whiskey barrels they use for their exceptional and uniquely curated Whiskey coffee beans…It is truly a must-try and speaks to the top-shelf craftsmanship to which the Peregrine team possesses. Such an exceptional locale that I’ve now gone out of my way on trips through the mountains multiple times to stop at Peregrine. I felt compelled to write this first review of mine, because the 1-star reviews are confounding, unless its small town competition politics. Unlike some other quality coffee shops I’ve been to elsewhere in the States, there is no hint of hipster elitism with the Peregrine team whatsoever, but if you want millkshakes masquerading as coffee than maybe try another place....
Read morePeregrine is HANDS DOWN the most incredible coffee shop my husband and I have ever been to. From the superb quality of their coffees and teas to their house made syrups, you will NEVER go wrong visiting their shop. There's something for everyone! Stephen has his roasting methods down to a precise science, so you are guaranteed to get an incredible cup of coffee that's unlike any other coffee shop. My husband and I lived in Westcliffe for a time while he was going to seminary, and Peregrine was our absolute favorite place to go. We would sometimes get multiple drinks in one visit, or we'd often come back later in the day for more - it's just that good! I have so many fond memories sitting in the coffee shop and working on my laptop while sipping on my drink and spending time with my husband. We have literally joked (and actually have considered) about driving up to Westcliffe just to go to Peregrine (we're going to Westcliffe this week, and I'm so excited).
Stephen and the whole team makes an effort to get to know their customers and serve them with top notch customer service. Stephen and the whole Peregrine team, we love you guys, and you will always have a huge place...
