Honey Dew Donuts — Restaurant in Westerly

Don’t order on the app because the manager will basically call you a liar and give you lots of attitude for asking for the food you already paid for. I order the same burrito every single time I come here. Today I had my husband pick up my mobile order that I placed this morning. Since this location in particular is frequent with getting orders wrong, I told my husband to double check the food before leaving. Of course, the avocado that I paid an up charge fee for was missing. He goes back around and is hassled about it. He wasn’t given a receipt with his food so he couldn’t show her but I added the pic of my order as proof. She prints off the receipt and I assume it didn’t include the avocado on the receipt. The manager even stated that “she will have to charge next time bc she can’t be giving out stuff for free”. That’d be understandable if I hadn’t already paid for it. But I clearly did! Who is going to lie about mediocre avocado??? I call after hearing her comments to my husband over the phone and she’s just about arguing with me when I tell her that clearly the website is flawed on their end. She states she’ll text the owner but was never apologetic or understanding of the mix up that’s clearly happening. Where’s the customer service nowadays?? I won’t be back. She may read this and not care at all but this is why nobody eats fast food anymore. It’s not worth it. Corporate needs to fix their site and train their staff on how to resolve issues properly instead of treating customers like thieves over...

Its pretty good. The coffee just not quite as smooth as Dunkin, but the team members are very very nice. The croissant-wiches are not the same as Dunkin...they might actually be frozen (just sayin') because they are a little doughey. The ones at Dunkin are freshly toasted to the point they are so flaky that they make a total mess when you eat them. The Honey Dew croissants are not toasted at all, even though the whole sandwich is served warm.

If you read this far, here are the plusses: they have pastry items you cannot get at Dunkin. (Try a rasberry stick.) Also, they sell the Westerly Sun newspaper. That's handy. Oh, and the line is usually shorter than the competition, so that's...

I asked for bacon and cheese on an English muffin and please make the bacon crispy/well done. I got my sandwich and left, when I got back to Rhythm and roots, I opened it. The muffin was burned and though there was quite a bit of bacon, it was barely cooked. I mean none of it was even remotely crisp and looked raw. I was so looking forward to my breakfast.
