Voc's Dunn's Corners Pizza — Restaurant in Westerly

My brothers and I go camping for a few days every August at Burlingame. We've been doing so for the past eight years. Part of that experience has included a visit to Dunn's for pizza. No more. We have had the unpleasant experience of having the same waitress for the past two times. This past Saturday at about 4 pm was the straw which broke the camel's back. She may have thought she was being charming, but in reality she was rude, insulting, and obnoxious. While I realize we're not the reason Dunn's stays in business and since we're not from Westerly, we can't spread the word to avoid this place, we have still vowed to never patronize this establishment again. The persona of a wisecracking waitress with a heart of gold may work in the movies, but it turns real people off. By the way, kindly tell her that grown men do NOT like to be referred to...

We stopped in here once in May 2025 to meet up with friends that live nearby seasonally and told us we had to try one of Lorraine’s Cosmos because nobody due them better. . I’m not typically a martini drinker but I was told to give it a try and it was amazing as was the whole local vibe in the place. Our next trip to the area a month later we came back and I tried her Creamsicle Martini— just as delicious as the Cosmo— along with a quick ham & cheese grinder that was perfectly toasted with shredded lettuce (how I had them growing up)! Fast forward three months to our next visit and a Pumpkin Martini with a DC Supreme Pizza and the fun local bar atmosphere and it was yet another win!! The food is absolutely disgusting. I ordered over 40 dollars worth of food including 2 grinders and a veal parm dinner. The spaghetti tastes like its been sitting in a pot of water for 3 days. Its just mush. . I literally spit it out. The veal ( if you can calk it that ) is dark dark gray amd the breading is falling off it. There is about an ince of water in the bottom of the container. The sauce is terrible. I threw the whole dinner in the garbage. The meatball grinder was equally disgusting. The meatbalks were soggy and loaded with bread. It didnt even taste like a meatball. We shared the chicken parm grinder. Although gross we were starving. What a waste...
