This is our favorite Chinese place. I love noodles and they have a good variety of noodles. Lo Meij, Chow Fun (dry), etc.
This isn't the typical Americanized Chinese where most entrees are in either a sweet orange sauce or a bland white or brown sauce. This is much more in line with authentic Chinese and each dish has its own unique flavor. My favorites are the Sea, Wind and Fire and the Blackened Steak for meat entrees. The beef is also higher quality than many typical Chinese restaurant.
For vegetables, I'm not a huge fan of the texture of eggplant, but I love the Chinese Eggplant and how it's prepared here. The Chinese Broccoli and Bok Choy are also good options.
If you are dining there, the experience is pleasant. The place is tastefully decorated and the bathrooms are clean. But like most places, they can use a little more help on the service side. Read moreThe food was terrible and the wait was so long that it's not even worth it not to mention they don't wear hair nets even though they go back and forth in the kitchen which is so unsanitary!! And the owner yelled at her employee right in the middle of the restaurant screaming at the top of her lungs and the poor girl did nothing wrong she was just putting plates on a table to serve customers their dinner which disrupted my meal and the whole restaurant and the poor girl was embarrassed and I felt bad for her and the reason the owner yelled at her was because she placed the food before the dinner plates maybe they should try teaching their employees instead of screaming at them how they want things done at their restaurant especially when it doesn't go their way screaming at your employee is...
Read moreI have lived in Asia and all over the US, but we moved back to Ohio after 10 years away and settled in Westlake. We tried most other Asian restaurants in the area and they were okay, but because the ones we had been ordering from were closed from of the pandemic, we tried Aristo Bistro. We ordered pork fried rice, pork lo mien, sesame chicken, egg rolls, and hot and sour soup. We knew right away that we found a new favorite when it comes to classic Asian dishes you would find in the states by far. The gentleman that took our order was friendly and service was prompt, despite being a busy weekend evening. Definitely looking to explore the rest of their menu, but one thing is certain, there is a noticeable difference in the quality and taste of the food for a...
