First off, beautiful venue. We came here for my birthday and made reservations and when we got to our table, they had a sign that said "Happy Birthday" which really added to the experience. We asked if there was an opening to sit outside and there was which I do recommend outdoor seating. My only hesitation was later on right before our food was served, another couple used a table to smoke outside and it wafted towards us. Thankfully they left before we ate. The food was delicious! I ordered a porterhouse steak and my wife ordered duck breast. Really delicious meals worth the price. I ordered my steak medium rare which was cooked perfectly, also with shrimp (worth the upcharge). I would say that the duck breast was underwhelming as far as portions go, and they forgot to add asparagus on the plate as the menu indicated. However, that isn't enough for me to throw off the whole experience. The service was great, our waters were always topped off, and we finished our meal with olive oil cake and it was the perfect ending to a great meal. Would definitely recommend for a special occasion or a fancy meal, plus its fun to dress up and go...
Read moreTried to call for take out and she set the phone down then hung up two mins later. Called back twice. Both times they answer I hear someone and then silence and I finally just hung up. Apparently they don’t want business through carry out.
Gave them another chance and this time went at a slower time and dined in. I honestly do not understand how people give this such a good review. This place is wayyyy to expensive to be giving you lays potato chips as a side and charging $3 extra just to switch it to French fries. I thought they were those fried chips so I asked for bbq sauce to dip them in. Nope just potato chips and then I got charged .50 for the bbq sauce they listed as “wing sauce” on my bill. The lunch salad and soup combo costing $11 is crazy for half a sandwich and no refills. You can get unlimited soup, salad and breadsticks at Olive Garden for $9.99! And the soups are better. I’m not a cheap person but if I’m spending more on food than normal places I definitely expect better than potato chips as a side and half sandwiches for the price...
Read moreThis used to be my family's favorite place. There were different and delicious weekly specials. There have not been weekly specials for several months other than their always old-reliable strawberry salad or apple salad depending on the season. It seems as if they're having issues in the kitchen as the head cook has been seen, and heard, berating staff on more than one occasion. Unacceptable! They now charge for a side of mayo and extra condiments which is disappointing. The size of the pork chops seem smaller which is also disappointing. Fish Fry (cod) Fridays seem to run out quickly (by 5:30pm or 6pm). What's happening to this once great place? Most of the servers and bartenders are absolutely wonderful and keep us coming back with their consistent and friendly service. Perhaps it's time to introduce some new food items to the menu? BRING BACK THE SPECIALS! Apathy will quickly ruin...
