Me giving them 2 stars is being really nice and here's why. First of all, these are really nice people. I mean that's what is helping them not get such a bad review from me. Ok now for the most important part.... the food. I've tried many different Thai food places in Los Angeles, Houston and New York.....and this place was probably at the bottom of my list. It really suprised me too because the place is so clean and the reviews are so good. But everyone is different and when it comes to a "Thai Fanatic" like me, I have high standards. I ordered the Basil fried rice that came with a combination of seafood at spice level "hot" which is a level 3 from 1-5. This was the worst Basil fried rice I've ever tasted. The rice wasn't even a friedJasmine rice. It honestly tasted like a fried pilaf puffed up type of rice that you would get from greek food (I eat a lot of greek food too). The seasoning was off as well. Yes it was spicy but it just didn't go together. It honestly tasted so bad that I couldn't eat anymore of it and left more than half of it on the plate. If they see this review they will know who I am because they asked me twice if I wanted a to go box and I refused..... kindly of course. Second thing I ordered was the "Tom yum soup". Now this was a better fish then the fried rice. Not the best Tom Yum soup I've had, but it was decent. Overall and to me.....I judge Thai places a lot by their rice dishes and soups (yes I know there is curries and other things.....but if you can't perfect those two dishes then it's not worth me trying other things on the menu. I wouldn't ever come back...

Where to start? We go to Thai Spice once a week every week! The staff is friendly, and courteous. The atmosphere is clean and comfortable. The tables and chairs are high quality, very comfortable, and semi private. The lighting is subdued, you can see fine and it adds to the privacy. We order the ice tea for drinks, it is a jasmine tea that is very refreshing, and compliments the food. Next up for appetizer is the single order (2) spring rolls. They are deep fried, but not greasy. They come with a sweet, but lightly spicy sauce. Puncture the spring roll with your fork, pour some of the sauce over. We also order the Thai Wanton soup. You will never eat Chinese Wanton again after having this soup. The broth is crisp, clean, and not greasy. The soup also has ribbon cut cabbage, a hint of basil, and the noodles have a "ball" of pork/shrimp in the center of each one. It is served piping hot. Our main course is the Spicy Thai Basil. You get an ample bowl of clean, fresh, steamed rice, and a separate plate/bowl of your choice of meat (we get beef), fresh sautéed green pepper, red pepper, Thai pepper, onion, mushrooms, basil, and a brown "sauce".Empty the rice on to your plate, spoon the contents above onto the rice, poor the brown "sauce" over all of that, and you have Thai paradise! Everything above from the ice tea to the main course compliments each other like it is perfectly...

I just love Thai Spice… I first discovered Thai Spice during my search for pho. I have been a repeat customer for five years now. my usual order will consist of the steak Pho cooked well done, crispy pork Spring Rolls, Chicken Summer Rolls and Strawberry bubble(boba) tea. Lately, the past couple years, I have stepped out of the box and have tried the chicken satay, grilled pork and grilled chicken. Everything I have ordered has been excellently cooked, the portions are adequate enough for myself, considering I’m 5’4 Asian Pacific Islander. The overall service is phenomenal. They are willing to accommodate customers with food, allergies. I am allergic to shellfish and during one of my orders to be delivered, I accidentally ordered shrimp Summer rolls. I immediately contacted them and they were more than happy to accommodate me and change it to the Chicken Summer roll I wanted. So, that’s a big plus in my book. All my orders are for delivery. I have only eaten in house, at least twice, and even the service there is great. I have no complaints whatsoever, I see myself ordering at least three or four times a month maybe more. I’m just glad I stepped out of the box and added more items that I can include to my growing list of yummy Thai Spice foods. Even my delivery drivers have expressed how much they love Thai...

The food was very disappointing. The price too high for the quality of food you get. Not sure if it was the time of the day but the service was very slow and tables were mostly dirty. I think the staff was just overwhelmed and under staffed. Anyway about the food, we ordered Pad See Ew which was very soggy and tasted tangy. We just ended up having a bite and throwing the rest away. The Panang Curry was watery and salty with no flavors as it should be. The Sesame Chicken was decent enough. The Thai Ice tea was so diluted tasted like lightly sugared water with disgusting overcooked tapioca. I did not feel this was worth a $60 bill. I will not be recommending or coming back here in the future.

We ordered takeout: sesame chicken with white rice and the house fried rice. Both were exceptional! We eat Asian food a lot and I think this is at least some of, if not the best, fried rice I’ve ever had. The toppings were generous and fresh, and I didn’t need soy sauce (which you shouldn’t with good fried rice! The white rice was also quite good and my husband is *very* picky about his rice. The sesame chicken is also one of his favorites we’ve had so far, and he actually ate the broccoli (also a very good sign). They have a nice wide selection on their menu and the prices were shockingly reasonable for how good it was. This place is highly rated for a reason. Don’t miss out!

We're visiting Cleveland to see some friends and they recommended this restaurant to us. I'll double down and recommend it to anyone reading this. The food was really fantastic. My wife got the massaman curry. I got a bowl of chicken pho and the bacon fried rice special. The pho broth had fantastic flavor. The bacon fried rice was like a better version of pork fried rice, I really enjoyed both dishes. The wait staff told us they were short handed and there were some extra wait times but honestly I didn't notice a long wait for anything. Highly recommend if you're in the area to give this place a try.
