My boyfriend bought me an impossible burger a few weeks ago. I said multiple times, "no mayo"-- I said it twice while ordering and again at confirmation. I intentionally do this because I understand fast food is fast-paced-- it's in the name. I do this to make sure they've got it, especially at takeout. We got home and I took a bite of my burger to find out there was mayo lathered onto it. So now, a $10+ combo was wasted because I was going to be sick. And I know some people will say, if you don't eat dairy/meat, don't eat fast food. That's unreasonable. Why is an impossible patty on the menu then? For meat eaters? I don't eat mayo. I was explicit about it. Extremely. And these aren't $5 meals anymore. I was hungry, we went out of our way to get the burgers meals we were craving, just to come home and now still be hungry and upset. I called the burger King and was very King with the woman on the phone. She sounded annoyed with her cook who was allegedly messing up multiple orders that day, but kind to me. She said I had to come back in and they would replace the meal. I told her we couldn't drive back right now, and did they have a delivery options. The answer was no. I asked if we could just be refunded and she said we would still have to come back in. That didn't work for that day, so she said we could come back in whenever as long as we brought the receipt, to get it replaced. With my work schedule and me not having a car, it ended up being up to 2 weeks. My boyfriend went once prior but forgot the receipt, so he just paid for the order. Anyway, when I finally got there, we encountered an elder gentleman with grayish hair and a mustache.
He told me I had to be there within 10 days and there should have been a name written on the receipt. THIS made no sense to me because I called in and spoke with a woman on the phone who said I could bring the receipt in whenever. I even asked her by when and she didn't give me a deadline. She said anytime. I'm pretty sure she told me she was the manager, or I just assumed it because she referred to the cook as "my cook" keeps messing up orders today.
He gave me a cup with my burger and rolled his eyes at me and scoffed when I asked for orange juice instead of the pop (because I don't drink pop, but I didn't actually even say that--asked very kindly).
My boyfriend didn't even bother getting a combo like usual because he didn't want to talk to the guy at the front desk any more than he had to because he had a very rude attitude. I understand people have bad days, I don't know what he was going through-- but he wasn't just not nice, he was rude. We literally were coming here during my 45min work break to quickly get a burger and get back to my 12+hour work day.
I had to give him my receipt, so I don't even have the order number anymore. I should have taken a picture. However, the interaction was taking place at 5:09pm Sunday October 15. (In case someone from corporate reads this).
I don't see how I was doing anything wrong. We spent out money on the order, spent time coming to burger King during a work break just to get an order than I couldn't eat. Was kind the entire interaction, just to be disrespected for something I was told I could do after burger King messed up my order. Ugh
Will never go to this location again. It sucks because it's the closest one to us and we just moved to Wayne a couple months ago.

First Review: Horrible. There's always a 12 to 15 car line. Then, after waiting, they have the nerve to charge you 15 cents for a BBQ sauce.. and not include salt and ketchup in the bag.. but says "everything's in the bag.." I won't be back there and don't recommend going. On top of all that, the food was not great at all. -1 stars.
UPDATE 1: Change that to -8 stars! Don't ask why I went back again, but I for sure learned my lesson this time. 1:30am there were NO OTHER CARS in line, and they mess up a Whopper Jr. combo. Messed up on ringing it in, messed up on making it correctly, messed up on fixing the problem. I asked for the jr. with an extra meat patty. What I got was a plain single cheeseburger that seemed like it was made two hours prior; and when I returned (I guess 20 minutes after they closed) they put my name in a book and said everything was shut down. Woooow! I just want my refund and I will not be back. This really has to stop. Check who you have working in your establishments!
UPDATE 2: Complete 180° from my past experiences here. Maybe my reviews really are helping! If so, I'm happy to help. I actually vowed to not come back to this location at one point (see above), but due to pretty swift lines during my door dashes, I decided to give them another shot; I am so glad I did. It's great to have a quality local burger king. This is one for sure! I'm not sure who they hired, or fired, but it was very good decision making. The lines still get a bit long sometimes, but don't be discouraged as they're pretty fast. You can always go in too during lobby hours. A few more speedy lines will land them an easy 5...
Read morePlace was dirty had spider webs and spiders all in the corner of the chairs, so many flies in this place. Took the cashier 20 minutes just to put my order in. I had repeated my order 3 times and had her repeated it back to me three times and when I swiped my card and the transaction when through. She said "oh no your going to be mad", then I had to ask FOUR TIMES before I could understand what was happening because she overcharged me almost $5.00. So I just got a refund because I had already waited 20 minutes and I told her 3 times my order. Also, was a guy that was mopping around everyone while it was so busy, and he kept saying watch out I just mopped. I think he could have waited until it died down. (They need more floor signs.) It was just a very unpleasant experience. I love BK, but I will NEVER go to this BK again. UPDATE: THE COOPERATE LADY CALLED ME AND TOLD ME I SHOULD GET COUPONS IN THE MAIL TO COMPENSATE MY ORDER.
