Felt like walking into the old Elevate Bar and grill. Doesn't feel like anything got redone, which Elevate was always nice. But mostly it feels like the signs got switched out and that's about it. They seem to have wrapped the tables with some sort of vinal. Doesn't feel nice and it looks like it was poorly done.
Came for breakfast, was excited for a new place. Left very disappointed in the food. One of us got chicken and waffles. For the life of me we were expecting basic regular waffles, they had a strong cinnamon flavor. Menu said belgium waffles, we didn't expect it to be flavored at all. It clashed horribly with the rest of the items. The chicken was very disappointing. Felt like frozen chicken from the super market, that had been poorly cooked, it was dry and tough to eat. The syrup, not sure what it was, but it wasn't good. It was thick and stringy like honey, but that definitely wasn't honey. Didn't feel like the chicken and waffles matched what the menu said. There was no bacon in the waffle, just on top. It was the same with the Firm Tacos that were ordered. It said it had chorizo, there was none. It said it had Cajun chicken, but there is nothing in the flavor that suggested Cajun what so ever. The beans were not seasoned, I know straight out of a can when I can taste it. The food took along time to come out. Which had we not been the only people in the restaurant, I wouldn't have noticed so much. Spent about an hour there, and not because we were just chilling. Felt like they really weren't prepared and ready to go for the day.
Our server was very friendly and nice. Was very attentive of us. No complaints there. I acknowledge they've just opened, but I hope you can take the feed back and work to make improvements to your food. Make sure your chefs are making the dishes to match what your menu says. Currently I would take a lot of convincing...
Read moreWe went on Mothers Day for the first time & will not ever come back. The food & service was awful for a restaurant that was hardly even half full. It was an incredibly disappointing experience. -Our waiter was slow, didn't know what was happening in the kitchen, very unfamiliar with the menu & had a strong lack of customer service. -My MIL ordered a $14 avocado toast - and it was legit ONE SLICE of bread cut in half with store bought avocado. -Our potatoes weren't cooked through. They were hard -The coffee options were just drip coffee… although the menu stated otherwise -When we asked for a kids menu we were told it was being worked on. When I asked if we could just order one kids pancake, we were told we couldn't do that. That we'd have to buy the set of three adult pancakes for $15… mind you, this was for our three year old son. I asked if we could still just get one small pancake for the price of a kids menu pancake, we were told no. -We had reservations for 9:00am, arrived on time & it took an hour and fifteen minutes to get our food -We ordered water and never got it -Our waiter never checked on us after we got the food, didn't check on us while we waited for our food & only filled our drip coffee one time in over two hours.
Truly very disappointing & we'll not be going back or recommending this space. A huge bummer because the atmosphere is great & had...

My first visit to Hill House during its soft opening was promising—decent food, attentive service, and a calm atmosphere. Encouraged, I returned for Mother’s Day with my family, but the experience was a disaster.
Despite having reservations, we waited two hours for our food. Service was absent—water was refilled once, and our server’s apologies couldn’t mask the chaos. When our food finally arrived, it was a series of letdowns: underripe, tart bananas on the French toast, iced coffee that was just brewed coffee over ice with pre-packaged creamer, and Eggs Benedict with a hard-boiled egg instead of poached. Burnt hashbrowns were scraped clean, and hard, inedible avocado completed the mess.
Hoping for consistency, I ordered the quinoa bowl I had enjoyed before. This time, it was dry, salty, and barely edible. Our server, clearly overwhelmed, apologized and offered a $7 discount, but the blame was beyond him. Staff lingered around the bar, seemingly indifferent, and there was no sign of any manager.
Hill House’s Mother’s Day chaos exposed a serious lack of preparation and management. What began as a promising experience has become a clear warning—this place struggles with consistency, quality, and basic service. I doubt it will last long without...
