Makeshift is the best home-away-from-home for crafters. Not only does it have supplies for just about every art medium you could think of, there's also classes of all kinds! Prices are affordable and Brittany chooses what products to stock with tremendous care.
Brittany (the owner) is the heart and soul of this place, and it's obvious from the second you meet her. She puts so much love into the shop to make it feel as homey and cozy as it does.
The best part of Makeshift, though, is the Living Room! A cozy corner of the shop with soft chairs and softer lighting, where anyone can come in with a project and just work or turn to fellow crafters for advice. It's exactly the kind of community art space my heart has been yearning for ❤️

The owner is such a fun person to chat with, and the vibes were awesome. I can’t...

The calendar has a ton of events and I really look forward to spending more time (and...
