Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Westmont

Took my nieces for ice cream today as I’m not always able to take them out as much as I’d like too. Was unfortunate that there was not much ice cream available because they were cleaning & left us with very few options. As a business owner I understand how important it is to treat customers with at least a small bit of enthusiasm & a smile can go a long way. Along with very solid “no, we don’t have that” answers the staff seemed very annoyed to be there to take care of customers which made it feel very uneasy & unwelcome at this establishment. It’s understandable to have tough or bad days but when you are in the service industry a smile can go a long way. The fact that they put the ice cream selections back in soon after we received our orders along with the apparent lack of staff giving off a sort of unwelcome energy made for a very morbid visit to this Baskin Robbins as everyone there gave off the feeling that they did not want to be there. It could have been a simple but slightly enthusiastic “Hi, how can I help you?” with an inkling of a smile especially when you are about to say no we don’t have that when you actually did a few minutes later could have made the difference in someone’s day including your own. I normally don’t leave reviews like this but I just wanted to express how sad it is to have simple common interactions with establishments & consumers to go so negatively when it only takes simple things to remedy the situations even if it is a “slight” inconvenience. It makes it appear as if they do not like to have customers & that doesn’t bode well for any business establishment. I would’ve ordered more to support the establishment & would even travel much further for a much better experience. Again, I understand that it is just a Baskin Robbins & it’s just ice cream but think about that… it’s sad that instances like this cheapen what we think of the brand & what we expect as far as the experience we...

Drove to the establishment during hours before 9 pm and all doors are locked with over 15 people inside. People inside pointed to the drive through which we proceeded to try. With a rude response lacking empathy from the worker she told us that they are no longer serving ice cream and are only serving hot coffee for the night as it says open 24 hours! As we pull around after being denied service for ice cream there are people inside reviving scoops of ice cream! Now I don’t know if the Diabetic club had a meeting inside (average BMI inside was ~35) or what but this place should have a meeting about how to treat customers. For a Dunkin’ Donuts/Baskin robins it is a little unbelievable to think the the only item available is hot coffee at any hours of operation. Would not recommend a visit...

This location is very convenient since it's close to work. The drive thru line is always very slow. But if you go inside 4 people are working the drive thru and only one for people walking in. Ive kept going here only because of the convenience. Yesterday was my last straw. I went inside last night for icecream. The only gentleman helping people inside was extremely slow. Not all of the icecreams were labeled, but he couldn't tell me what any of the flavors were. I then just asked for a single scoop in a cup. He then started scooping a cone.
