We booked Prestige's services for our wedding in early August. They were easy to work with in the beginning, promptly giving us our invoice and helping with liquor selection. We ran into issues on the day of our wedding. One of our coordinators contacted Prestige to check in about drop off times. Gary, the main contact for wedding alcohol services, claimed that we did not pay off the remainder of our invoice (even though we paid the remaining balance in early July). When trying to problem solve with Gary, our coordinators were not met with kindness or respect, but rather curtness on top of the insistence that we did not pay. We ended up having to put additional money down to guarantee delivery of the alcohol we ordered two hours before our ceremony began. After the wedding, we contacted Gary who eventually apologized for his error as he realized we did in fact pay off our invoice on time. Somehow our payment was not recorded or communicated to him. Our money was eventually refunded, though there was never recognition on Gary's part in the role he played in making the problem-solving process very stressful for us on our wedding day. There also was no clarity on how there was no follow-up on our "missing" payment prior to our wedding. A lot of this trouble could have been avoided with clearer communication among the staff at Prestige. While we are grateful they worked hard to fix all issues they caused, we are still disappointed in how the whole situation...

I asked him when a product will be coming back into stock and he kept saying they don't have the product I was asking for (even though I've purchased 4 bottles from there), said I'm calling the wrong store, demeaned me bc I pronounced it incorrectly after he figured out what I was asking for, then said if they don't have it must be discontinued and I should just know that (huh? how would I KNOW that; I don't work there), he said he'd order more for me but at an increased cost (what???), then told me that I should just drink a different version bc it's better (I'd like to drink what I think tastes good, not what he thinks tastes good). I hung up on him bc he was so incredibly rude and had zero customer service skills. Prestige has been my 100% go-to for my beverage needs for many years now. They have embraced Chicago’s craft beer market. They will have your everyday drinkers and hard to find beers that fly off the shelves elsewhere. Their manager Dillon is so friendly and professional. If there is something your looking for he’ll help you find it or if your not sure what’s right for you he’ll make a perfect recommendation.
