A rude server and host. We went to dinner tonight with some friends and when we walked in, my mom & brother were just sitting down to eat, so we invited them to join us. Since they were not having the buffet, they asked for a separate check and our server said no, one bill per table only. They said they'd move back to the table they would move to their own table. She rolled her eyes and let out a very rude "FINE, I'll give you a separate check" and proceeded to huff and puff her way through serving us. I guess we were bothering her when we asked for refills on soda. She was useless and rude, not great traits for a food server.
As bad as our server was, the kid at the host desk was worse. On the fundraising flyer, it indicates that kids bet free tokens for the games Monday - Wednesday. We asked him about it & he said he didn't know, we'd have to ask "Bob". Not he'd go ask Bob, we'd have to go find Bob and ask him. BTW, they don't have free tokens anymore. On our way out, I stopped to let him know that the free tokens information is also on the website and he should let his manager know. I got a terse "OK" followed by him going back to playing on his phone. I followed up with could you let your manager know now. "I will" and right back to his phone. I continued with, really, I mean now, as in stand up and go let them know. It took two more exchanges before he put his phone down and pretended to go inform the manager. Pretended because he walked around the corner and peeked back several times to see if I had left. So I followed him to the corner, he went halfway down the hallway and checked back, then the end and checked, At this point, I was going to let the manager know myself. I followed down the hallway and he disappeared. I asked the folks in takeout if they had seen him and they hadn't. I explained the the situation and how the host was completely blowing off the request of a patron. They really didn't seem to care either, but at least said enough to appease my growing anger. I realized nothing was going to be brought up to anyone in management and that they really didn't care. I left.
Oh, and just to add, the table across from us (with a different server) had multiple separate checks and...

EXACT SAME AS BELOW. IT IS OBVIOUS SALES ARE WAY DOWN FROM ITS HEY DAY IN THE 80'S /90'S. THE PLACE WAS A GHOST TOWN.
AGAIN, GET NEW PIZZA WARMERS THAT ACTUALLY WORK ON THE BUFFET. GET SOME NEW OPTIONS AND SUPPLIERS FOR THE BUFFET. IT IS VERY TIRED.
NOTHING HAS CHANGED FROM REVIEW BELOW. BUFFET PIZZA WAS COLD AGAIN. THE WORST MEXICAN OPTIONS, TASTE WISE. CHICKEN WAS OVER COOKED. SALAD WAS SICK. AND FOR GODS SAKE, GET SOME DIFFERENT DESSERTS THAN TOUGH BROWNIES, JELLO AND TAPIOCA. ITALIAN HAS THE Worst MARINARA STILL. COME ON GUYS. TIME TO SELL OR UPDATE. 10/25/22.
Need to update inside. Need to improve/vary buffet menu. Even the pizza is going downhill. This place used to be a long time favorite, but the pizza usually has too much sauce. And something seems to be missing from the recipes.
That said, this place has great service. The women there work very very hard. We still come back but are always disappointed and it's getting expensive now too. Dinner the other night for two was $70 with the tip at a pizza joint. too high guys and it looks like it's starting to impact their business as they're not crowded like they used to be.
Customer for over 30 years but I fear you guys have changed something in your pizza recipe. Maybe it's a new vendor, But it's not nearly as good as it used to be.
So three things to do. 1. Do a total upgrade of the inside. Very dated. 2. Get some new things on the buffet and rotate them. Some of them that are offered are just not good anymore. Get a new dessert, upgrade the meat seasoning for the tacos, and by all means get more pizzas under a hotter lamp. They are always cold and never taste as good as ones you order. Stay on top of that and that's always disappointing when there's no pizza out there or it's cold. Update the menu with some new items and go back and check for quality of the ingredients you use on your main dishes. Or try some new recipes. The places become stale and it's sad because it was such a go-to. And now I can see that many other people are thinking the same thing as it's not crowded like it used to be. And that's before covid. We want you back but you got to put some effort into it guys and change some things...
Read moreI had my daughter’s confirmation party this passed Saturday. We had reserved “right field” for a 3 hour time limit. I have an email to prove that I stated to the person I was booking with that we may be late depending on the time the confirmation was over and they stated it was ok because I have the area reserved for the 3 hours. I paid my bill 30 min before our time was up and one of my guest pointed out to me that they were sitting strangers in our area and clearing off tables. I went up to a lady at the cashier station by our section and told her that it was rude to do that without saying anything. She apologized and began to tell me that they had a line by the door that it was fire hazard so they had to do it. I told her that if I had a private room they wouldn’t do that. She again apologized to me and said I was right. I didn’t want to cause a scene at the restaurant so I just went about my business with the party. However, I felt so disrespected. I sent an email later that night how I felt about what happened and also called. I got a call back from the owner Laura and she was very rude and disrespectful. She decided to call me a liar and said that her servers asked me before they sat anyone in our area which didn’t happen. Otherwise, why would I have gotten an apology from the person who I talked to. She continued to scream at me on the phone and call me a liar and the worst customer ever. I am shocked with how I was treated and I never deserved that. I have had parties here for many years and now I will never go back. My party wasn’t even over and they decided to disrespect me when I paid $400 for my party. No one deserves to be disrespected like this. It was my daughter’s special day and they didn’t even care how it affected her. The response I got was my guests were starting to leave so they took those tables. They even touched my guests belongings and moved them to another table. I am very disappointed. I got more understanding by the lady that was there on Saturday then be the owner LAURA who called me back just to disrespect me even more and made me feel like dirt for no reason. Be very careful when going to...
