Sweet Generations — Restaurant in Westwego

Love love LOVE sweet generations. I had the absolute best customer service experience with this bakery! I was in town in February looking to do some cake tasting. I had gone to two bakeries that I just knew off the top of my head and after scheduling tastings at both, I show up for them to tell me they would be closed on my wedding week (week of July 4th). After asking around for recommendations, I had two people mention sweet generations. I gave them a call and asked to schedule a tasting. The owner told me they usually did tastings on certain days but I was leaving before those days to go back home. She squeezed me in anyway and got me on the schedule for a tasting the day before we left Louisiana. The cake was DELICIOUS and it was the one thing I looked forward to from February until July. I ordered a 3 tiered cake with Pineapple, Bavarian Cream, and strawberry fillings on each of the different tiers. We also ordered a chocolate grooms cake with chocolate buttercream icing. On the day of the wedding, the cakes were delivered with no issues and tasted just as good as when we had the tasting. I would recommend Sweet Generations a thousand times over and I’m so glad we chose them for our cakes. I plan to go back to sweet generations every time I return home...

Absolutely AMAZING!

Recently had surgery and unable to do as much as I normally could for my parents. I checked the reviews for this place and they were good. I also noticed they were on Grubhub (almond cake with strawberry filling)! I took a chance and ordered through Grubhub. I added comments about their anniversary, their names and colors request.

My parents shed a tear because of the attention to detail (their wedding colors) and how tasty it was - just like their wedding cake. The person who delivered it was also kind!

Glad to have found this place. I am normally a Walmart or Sam’s club sheet cake customer but this place is definitely worth the extra money. I ordered a 16x20 double layered cake. Shay and her staff were always friendly and helpful with every phone call and question I had. They always showed kindness, compassion, and customer service and the cake was super fresh! Shay went the extra mile to check my car’s temperature to make sure the cake wouldn’t melt in the summer heat. Shay definitely shows passion for baking and takes her customers expectations seriously....
