Unfortunately I rarely write reviews unless I believe it is necessary. This location is really nothing more than a glorified video poker establishment over the last few months. This stems from a relationship with the New Orleans fairgrounds where they have all but given up their state licensing. The remote OTBs or off track betting locations are now suffering. Many machines are gone and it’s now just a video poker truck stop feel. However these OTBs have a significantly higher operating revenue need and I feel it’s being taken out on the players who walk in and walk out, empty handed. I have watched first hand how poorly these machines are paying and can only attribute to the fact that the revenue shortfall is being made up on the backs of the customers. While these places are supposed to be regulated for fairness, it absolutely appears that the luck is by far benefiting the house.
